No one can blame usyk, he has literally zero choice but to fight his mandatories in the order rotation... if it was down to him, i strongly think he would have picked wilder, much to everyones delight. Ah well. We can sit n dream for now.

When a fighter wants fights they don't make ridiculous demands like 70/30 if they rematch. He got 25/75 in the first fight and 50/50 in the rematch vs Joshua but tried to demand 50/50 and is now demanding 70/30 in his favor if they have a rematch. Ridiculous.Comment

Usyk would have picked Wilder. Problem is, Wilder wouldn't have picked Usyk. Wilder only came out and said what he did because he knows Usyk has mandatories. If he hadn't, Wilder would have kept silent. Wilder doesn't even want any top boxers. He wants MMA fighters where he knows they have no place there. Even Ruiz is seen as too much of a threat to him. It's why he ran when the WBC wanted to find a mandatory with the winner.Comment

The whole point of his 70/30 rematch offer was that it was what Fury had set as a precedent for the putative first first. If Fury wanted 70/30 to bring his one belt to the table in return for Usyk's 3, then it doesn't seem a ridiculous demand for Usyk to get 70/30 in his favour in the event of a rematch where he would be the undisputed four-belt champion and Fury would be a no-belt challenger coming off a loss.Comment

Wonder if fisheyes will suddenly think the mandatory split for mandatory challengers is too little for Dubois.Comment
