That's what I've been scratching my head about. Well, the assumption is he's regretting signing up to this fight. And they're convinced Haney would beat Loma with 100% certainty.

So loma never fought to become undisputed, which is why even though Lopez won, he wasn’t undisputed. Which is why after kambosos took those same titles from Lopez, he needed to fight Haney with the winner becoming undisputed. Woulda coulda shoulda. Was it ******? Yes. But that’s what the wbc did and that’s what happened. So spin the narrative anyway of how things should’ve been but that’s not what happened. What was Haney's amateur career? Did he win even one gold medal? Did he win a silver medal? Did he even win a bronze? Wait ... did he represent the USA in the Olympics? He didn't??? He was never called up to the Olympic team? Well, if he didn't, how can he have more skills than a man who won two gold medals?

Can Haney fight on the inside? He can't? You say that he has to clinch every time a guy closes the distance on him? Loma can fight on the outside and inside. In fact, he's extremely good on the inside. So how can Haney have more skills than Loma? Someone make it make sense!!

How many KO's does Devin have? What's his KO percentage? On BoxRec, Haney has about a 50 percent KO rate, while Loma has about a 60 percent KO rate, and he's the smaller guy, but Devin has more skills than Loma?

Loma is in third place right now, according to CompuBox, for highest plus/minus in the sport. Devin Haney isn't even on the list!!! But Devin has more skills, is on another level? Yeah. He's on another level alright; he's several levels below

Soooo, it’s Haney’s fault that Loma passed on the opportunity to fight him a couple of years back when he was the mandatory, gave up his title and chose to fight Lopez instead? Is it also Haney’s fault that Lopez lost to Kambosos who then had all of the remaining titles that Haney needed to be undisputed? There are plenty of guys guilty of doing what you said but Haney has been trying to fight the guys that matter in his division.

the whole boxing scene was screaming Loma was afraid Lopez. Then he took the Lopez fight while injured and still didn't get battered. Now the same people are crying he avoided Haney hahahah
