It's a shame as his son at his peak is probably the best in the division. That Uysk v Fury fight had it gone ahead would of most likely been captivating eg the build up,face to face ,and the fight itself. Fury would of probably won had he been in great shape ( possible reason why he didn't want to fight Uysk) but Uysk I feel would have given him problems.

Hope as Carl Froch said the fight can still get made later in the year.

Tyson Fury is the one who stepped aside for an Ngannou fight. It'll pay more, easier boxing match and by fighting Usyk it came with a rematch clause making him miss his 100m payday he would get anywhere else now that AJ has 0 belts and multi losses

#bumsquad will duck Usyk even quicker than the Gypsy Fraud did. Never gonna happen.

Do you think? For when, what date?

Fury will most likely offer Ruiz Junior a fight at short notice 'To whatever date he is fighting on'.

In-between big fights, it will be highly uncharacteristic for Fury to fight Joyce 'David Price has recently stated these observations'.

Fury has been matched very well, as in 'He will take big fights when he absolutely has to, but in-between these big fights he will fight pretty much at domestic to high end European level' And he will historically not really be swayed by any sort of public pressure with his methods.

I would even regard Andy Ruiz Junior, with full notice 'A fight at this stage of Fury's career, a bit uncharacteristic'.

Fury can in all honesty, if he wants to can just have another ticking over fight 'I don't think he cares mate'.

Do you really think Queensbury are going to tell Fury, that he must make the Joyce fight? No 'Fury will decide, even while subjected to public pressure'.

The man is playing the heel now 'Although I don't personally consider him a straight up bad guy'. Most of his career he has been that type of fighter 'It was his hardcore fans, that made him their hero'.

Fury is training so, there must be some fighters in line.

Usyk wanted 70/30 for the winner of fight one in a rematch. If Fury was confident of beating him that wouldn't have been a problem.

Usyk will make his next fight easily, whether that is against one of his mandatory competitors or another top level fighter.

I think Dubois vs Usyk is a big fight. I am not fond of stadium fights, but in the UK 'That fight is a stadium fight'.

Still hoping that Fury v Uysk gets made at some point eg later this year or early next.

Iam glad fans are turning on Fury and rightly so. He's messed Uysk about . Thought he was better than that :

This is class by Uysks manager
USYK’s manager has called for fans to stop hating Tyson Fury. This comes after large numbers of fans have turned on Tyson Fury for his hypocritical claims and bullying negotiating tactics.

It's the point in principle. If you beat someone you get the lions share in the rematch. Added to that Uysk had been training in Turkey since December for the proposed Fury fight. I read as well he was getting less for the Fury fight than he did for the Joshua fight.

I think Carl Froch probably called it right :
" I think the main reason he ( Fury) asked for 70/30 was to just price himself out of it. It’s a good way to get out of a fight, ‘I want 70%, I don’t think for one minute Usyk takes it’.

I think when Usyk took it he was shocked and then he thought I haven’t got enough time, just 6 weeks to get in shape and perform against this top fighter. So I think that was a ducking job.

I think he will fight him, so he’s not ducking him as in he’s got no intentions of ever fighting him, but I think the fight didn’t happen because Fury didn’t want to fight him just yet.”
