yeah but the white looking mexicans can't fight.

all the best mexican fighters aren't white looking. they look native. not even spanish looking.

most have jet black straight hair.

JCC straight up looks like an indian chief. first Mexican heavyweight champ Andy Ruiz looks like an obese native.

JCC, Arce, Genaro, and Tapia are hardly "white". Even Zepeda, being very light skinned, you can clearly see the "indio" in their genetic features. Contrary to what you are taught in USA schools, color doesn't dictate race/nationality. If that were the case then many asians would be classified as "white".

Gervonta Davis is clearly light skinned......but nobody would consider him white.

Since a lot of you didn't get a proper education or have any common sense, I'll place this here:

Mexico’s population is composed of many ethnic groups, but roughly can be grouped into three categories:
            - American Indians (Amerindians): who account for less than one-tenth of the total.

            - MESTIZOS (The mixture of indigenous and European people's): who account for about three-fifths of the total.

            - Mexicans of European heritage (“whites”): who constitute the remainder of the population. ~7-10%

Reason why I mentioned that some fighters I listed are mixed, can see it in JCC and Arce though not that it bothers me if they weren't.

There is plenty of fighters who are predominantly Amerindian like Ricardo Lopez, Salvador Sanchez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Jose Luis Castillo, Ruben Olivares, Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Francisco Estrada, Carlos Zarate and etc.

The vast majority of the fighters are Mestizo though, whether they look more white or native.

De La Hoya I presumed he was mostly European due to his looks, but like Ryan Garcia his parents are heavily mixed.

You must be kidding, right? Canelo is pheomelanin, and Davis is eumelanin, regardless of the color palette nonsense. Simple genetics test will prove it.

                  - - Never seen an extensive genealogy background on any you listed, nor would I rely on the idiocy of BS populated by hamhanded misanthropes who create utter nonsense nonstop.

Never seen a pic of Canelo dad, but several brothers fought who looked more traditional Mexican variety that could also pass as Spanish or even Portuguese.

Canelo would appear to favor his mother who is often at his fights.

The Irish colonials were well established in Old Mexico and America since early 19th Century and well populated the British Isles centuries before that.

Not sure what you're implying here? If you don't mind, could you rephrase it? Obviously, there aren't any studies behind the professional boxer's genetic background and I am just making assumptions here.

Canelo had mentioned that his great grandfather from his mother's side was a soldier from the Saint Patrick's battalion, which was a Mexican Army's unit mostly composed of Irish immigrants.

As for Canelo's father he looks like a tanned Spaniard:
