If you've been to Mexico especially Guadalajara his hometown a lot of white complexion Mexicans there not uncommon at all unless you believe the idiotic US media which makes you think all Mexicans only look one way.

There is plenty of white people in Mexico though? mostly in the North, Guadalajara (Jalisco) and the upper class in Mexico City.
