Why is Jamaine Ortiz not getting any more fights?

    https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/b...name-opponents

    He's clearly a free agent.

He fought on a Shobox card and won. And was never asked to come back again. Why?

TR gave him Jamal Herring 3 months later. He won but asked to come back for Arum's prize fighter Loma.

Why is PBC/Showtime no longer interested? There's Martin, Pitbull, Romero, Figueroa, etc.

Even Arum won't pit him with Shakur Stevenson when it's a better fight than the Yoshino fight.

I think it's cause he's mixed. Blacks ain't riding with an Ortiz and Mexicans ain't riding with a Jamaine. Stuck in between.

High risk low reward, he looked like a dangerous threat against Loma but since he didn't beat him, fighters know they won't get any credit from defeating Jamaine. I for one, wouldn't mind watching Raymond Muratalla vs Jamaine Ortiz.

This doesn't answer the OP's original question. GTFO with your race baiting bs.

Exactly. And that would be a great fight! Much better than Nakathila would be a perfect co feature for Haney Loma

I would prefer Nakathila vs Ortiz as both have long layoffs.
