The thing is with illegal ******s though is the quality is sometimes rubbish hence in the past from watching it in friends houses with the football which I don't do no more. I rather pay my ppv and get crystal clear reception like some of the recent big fights that have taken place eg Hatton v Mayweather,Uysk v Joshua and the Fury v Wilder trilogy.

I get what your saying about promoters being greedy but for me everyone has to pull together in the right direction to get the sport in a healthy place eg fans ,promoters and fighters .

PPV is killing the sport dead.
Only tune into the big fight anyway when I pay my pay per view .You can have too much of a good thing. I remember getting up at 4.30am for one for the Fury v Wilder fights and being like a kid at Christmas. Same with the Uysk v Joshua fights.

PBC damages boxing by puttin too many unnecessary ppvs out. Start there. A lot of their fights wouldve been on boxing after dark, hbo championship boxing, showtime championship boxing and even a special edition of friday night fights.

Want less illegal ******s? Put a loaded card out there. Quality over quantity...pretty simple.

Until then Im gonna ****** like a mofo

There's so much money in that game due to fan passion which funds the top players lives who are millionaires. In effect what are they doing kicking a ball about. It's the group belonging to a team which is the main driving force behind the business of football I feel. Since cavemen times people have belonged to groups eg face painting distinguished one group from the other and football shirts and football to a large degree I feel is the modern day equivalent eg my tribe.

For me top level boxing is more deserving of a rich lifestyle as there is more sacrifice involved. You can't blame people as much as you do in football if things go wrong as it's just man on man . As a top boxer said recently boxing is a sport you can't play .

You made a valid point on greed and the Fury v Uysk fight . I blame Fury more though as noted for the collapse. All what Uysk wanted is a bigger cut if he won the rematch which is fair enough. Genuinely still gutted about that. Would of been an intriguing fight as Uysk had been training since December for the proposed fight.
These guys fight once a year and make more money than me and you will make in a lifetime
Tell you what , when they start Irving me better fights and Moret than once a year , then maybe I’ll reconsider purchasing one of their over cost ppv

I don't bedrudge them it though . There top athletes who dedicate themselves to their craft albeit some more than others ala Oleksandr Uysk and Floyd Mayweather Jr when he use to fight. For me some people are made to box . I look at bygone eras for one and look at videos of Muhammad Ali or Sugar Ray Robinson. That's what they were destined to do.

It's like in football though. There's only a small percentage at all respective levels of the game that will make the millions.

Can’t argue with you there but I still stand by my comments that they need to fight more than once a year
Maybe then I’ll be titillated to purchase one of their over fughin priced ppv
I grew up watching Tuesday night fights for one , that was on free cable , better fights there’s than most ppv
                Get what I’m saying

There are people who will illegally ****** everything. If you managed to shut down illegal ******ing they simply wouldn't pay for the product.

But most people make a choice. Pay the PPV price and get a reliable ******, or spend time looking for a dodgy ****** and risk it buffering and cutting out.

Personally, if it's a fight I want to watch then I'll pay. I'm not going to risk missing the key moments.

So this is back onto the fighters and promoters. Provide a product that is worth the money charged and people will pay. Provide a product that isn't worth the money and people won't.

I illegally ******ed Fury v Chisora. That didn't cost anyone a cent - I was never going to pay more than about $20 for that fight. I'd have happily missed it.
