lol! yeah, he's actually been doing to a lot of fighters what was done to him by Mayweather. The problem is that now, at 168, a crippling catchweight might hurt him as much as his opponent.

Benevidez having a big win is good because it will sell the fight. The Benevidez / Canelo fight has lots of potential, mostly unrealized potential because Benevidez has done so little. The bottom line is, well, the bottom line.
Well saunders fought murray the fight before and plant fought truax, and they didn't have anything resembling benavidez in their resume, ryder was running away from Morell jr before hitting the jackpot. Not a murderous row.

And if Canelo had beaten Bivol there would have been a tremendous chorus of "I told you so", weak opponent. It's honestly very difficult for anyone to have faced a murderers' row these days.

Nowadays you don't need to face a murderous row to be a star. See canelo, and the elite fighters he fought, which are Mayweather, Lara and ggg, and of course bivol 1-3-1. And remember bivol was chosen after a lackluster showing. I'll say a cherrypick gone wrong.

However, this never translates to what actually takes place in the ring. Trust me, Bivol is one of the most elite I’ve ever witnessed making aggressive fighters look amateurish. His defense is jaw dropping and he is never out of position to make haymaker fighters pay and pay dearly. Bene would gas at all the missed shots he’d accumulate. Bivol is a different animal and up to this point Bene has been strategically matched against C level fighters.

When there is a common pattern of David busting up everyone in sparring, that should tell you something, unless you are in denial. You greatly underestimate Davids abilities and skill, sound like a hater. Bivol is a basic ABC up and down boxer, so its funny how everyone is on his train because he beat up a blown up Canelo and B grade Zurdo. Benavidez will break him down. First plant get the work.

Morrell’s team is running away from a Benavidez fight. They were constantly name dropping him but when he said let’s do it they suddenly backtracked.

Hater? Cmon! I’ve said he is a solid fighter but he isn’t anywhere close to the level of Bivol or Beterbiev. That’s why he continues weight draining to skeletal levels vs fighting at a FAR MORE natural weight. Given his size he should be no less than CW. There’s a reason why he hasn’t jumped up to higher weights. He and his camp knows the elite in those weight classes not only take much harder punches but also punch back far harder. More so than the present C level fighters you’ve fought your entire career
