    Canelo is 5'7 and small.

Benevidez would give him a proper beatdown.

Bivol is 6’ and light years beyond Bene in skill. There’s a reason Bene and Bene’s Dad continue to weight drain him to levels of Skeltor. Bene knows, his Dad knows, his camp knows the moment he moves up, the jig is up.

All the top boxers rip his single game plan style apart at LHW. Bene and his come forward style is all he knows. At LHW, when that doesn’t work he has nothing to fall back on and daddy Bene knows this. Bivol toys with him like a kitty cat with his favorite toy and Beterbiev takes those shots, smiles and makes him go night night. Why do you think he is still fighting at SMW at 6’2” looking like a ***ish refugee during WWII?

        I’m not so sure.

Supposedly Benavidez has dropped Bivol in sparring.

Canelo demands extensive VADA testing during training camp.
Yeah, the guy who failed Vada testing and also dropped out of vada 24/7 demands extensive vada? Lmaooo. He adheres to having to do occasional vada testing for about 8 weeks leading into title fights, which is not “extensive “, he’s not demanding it of anyone, especially since he’s a confirmed cheater.

What makes you think that’s a good thing for Canelo? If you look at his opposition over the last 8 years, hardly any of them were coming off of an impressive win where they “looked good doing it”. Matter fact, it’s the opposite. Nearly all of them were coming off recent fights where they looked vulnerable.

Saunders, Plant and now Ryder are certainly exceptions but I get your point. Canelo's opponent selection process is hit and miss.

Benevidez having a big win is good because it will sell the fight. The Benevidez / Canelo fight has lots of potential, mostly unrealized potential because Benevidez has done so little. The bottom line is, well, the bottom line.

We have a difference of opinion's, Canelo should be able to beat Ryder, it's the next fight after that which will be the truth teller.
They're talking Bivol after Ryder, and if Benavidez look's spectacular against Plant, the fans will be yelling real loud for Benavidez to get next.

Many top fighters have been dropped in sparring even to absolute scrubs. Boxing elite use those sessions to get rounds in and try new tactics. This isn’t anything new. However, this never translates to what actually takes place in the ring. Trust me, Bivol is one of the most elite I’ve ever witnessed making aggressive fighters look amateurish. His defense is jaw dropping and he is never out of position to make haymaker fighters pay and pay dearly. Bene would gas at all the missed shots he’d accumulate. Bivol is a different animal and up to this point Bene has been strategically matched against C level fighters.

The ginger should do what it was done to him, give the chance to a young gun. Past his prime Mayweather gave canelo the chance of a lifetime. He couldn't do anything with it, but got the chance. We have benavidez, Morell jr, young good fighters in his own division, that will take the opportunity and relished. He ain't looking to fight those fighters.
