If Davis knocks off Garcia then fans will start looking at this seriously . Davis is in a tough division and has the chance to really prove himself against some big names , hopefully this time next year he will have really made a mark ...can he be outboxed and KO'd , I think we are near finding out.

Davis could have done better when he fought less then competitive opponents if he had fought on ESPN or somewhere other then PPV. But no even as a up and coming fighter not really a contender yet he played the money game, pretending he was something he was not and still is not. His time if he chooses boxing over money and hype has arrived lets see if he is a fighter of the orignal kind or just another hyped up over blown market man. He has a chance but he has not proved much of nothing other then he got PPVs way before he has done anything real yet. 28 years old check his record talking boxing record not arrest record. And compare to fighters who are known and already respected and see where he lands.
His record consists of KOs over mostly undefeated or 1 loss fighters at the time he fought them, he's the biggest draw in any of the divisions under Cinnabon's weight class, he's broken the gate record for multiple venues and sells out the place every time he fights, and he's the only PPV attraction in his weight class.

He was asked the question and he answered, he wasn't going around telling the people, but Floyd did all the time, and it came true. If he's reached this level of popularity and ability to draw without being a champion, just imagine when he faces the champion or anyone that everyone wants him to fight. At 28, I can't name a current fighter, besides Cinnabon, that has reached this level of stardom. The truth is what it is, people may not like it, but that sells too.

"Face's of boxing" don't have to worry about silly logistical things like, "having a gym to train out of". It's all set.

Those not in the know, the alleged "Face of Boxing" was kicked out of Mayweather's boxing gym last week and told he couldnt train there.

No personality. His fan base doesn't buy fights in large amounts. I'll give him he's exciting to the casual.

Ask any of your non-boxing fan friends or family if they have ever heard of Tank Davis. When they say 'no' show them a picture of Tank Davis and ask them again. When they respond "fck no, never saw that tattooed, transgender midget in my life!," go ahead and ask them who the face of boxing is these days.

Keep hating, and it keeps selling. People buy tickets and PPVS to see him lose, just as much as they do to see him win.

Makes sense. Boxing is in the gutter right now.

Tank Davis is a successful fighter and star in the sport, but that's it. He's fun to watch, but he's not Floyd Mayweather and he doesn't look like he ever will be because he has zero charisma. It's not "hating" to acknowledge that. Now, if Ryan Garcia wins that fight...

Davis right now is the face of boxing. If Cryan Garcia beats him the he will have that accolade

Tank is naturally a shy and soft spoken person, but so was Cinnabon.....
