Keep dreaming, when they stop hiding your PPV numbers then you can talk. Not even cracking 300k. You don't hide success.

He could make it up to us by fighting Andy Ruiz! I'd like to see that fight! It would do well in Las Vegas or L.A.!

Who's the face of A once great And now severely watered down fringe sport... lets see... you could still say its the red head. I mean, yeah alot of his significant accomplishments are fraudulent but at least he's stepped in the ring and fought some guys that can beat him-even if he has ROBBED THEM or made them DIVE in the process. And he is generally more well know then Bud(the #1 pound for pound fighter).

Tank on the other hand doesn't even currently hold a real belt and hasn't been in a true 50/50 fight since pedraza. Yeah he has the controversy thing down Pat but, no matter how many tattoos he gets, purses or women's blouses he wears, how many undersized or drained Hispanics he KOs or how many tweets he deletes-that still doesn't make you the face of boxing just because you and everyone associated with you says it until they are blue In the face.

Seeing as how the new age boxing fan has as much intelligence as a dried up used sponge, if he says it long and often enough these idiots will eventually believe it.

With all that said... he does have the potential to be in reality what his deluded advisors have led him to believe he already is. If he avoids anymore hit & runs with pregnant women, domestic incidents with the floozies he lays with and actually learn how to speak English he Has a shot. Oh I forgot the most important part- Get a REAL belt and fight a REAL CREDIBLE threat. Then rinse and repeat.

Nobody gives a **** about canelo apart from Mexicans and a few Americans

He's not some crossover star anywhere else.

No hate here. Canelo’s punches look amazing, he fought a ton of guys, has the Mexican community behind him, and is attractive. Tank may be the guy that folks in the boxing community love to hate, but none of my non boxing fan friends have a clue who he is. The proof is in the pudding.

Sorry, Tank Davis is a top-tier talent, no doubt about that, but he is just not that marketable. He is just too small and ugly to be the face of boxing. He's also covered in prison tats up to his ears, dresses like an ***** gansgta and always sounds completely baked when he's interviewed. There are lots of great fighters out there, but to be the face of the sport, to transcend it, you have to have charisma, and Tank doesn't know what that word means.

If a fighter needs to tell people (who will listen ?) that he is the best the most attractive to the fans eyeballs or what ever a fighter thinks he is THAT is usually just being a wanna be. G.Davis will win his next fight, but the draw he thinks he has has always been manufactured at best. He did not come on the scene and steal people into wanting to see him. Davis could have done better when he fought less then competitive opponents if he had fought on ESPN or somewhere other then PPV. But no even as a up and coming fighter not really a contender yet he played the money game, pretending he was something he was not and still is not. His time if he chooses boxing over money and hype has arrived lets see if he is a fighter of the orignal kind or just another hyped up over blown market man. He has a chance but he has not proved much of nothing other then he got PPVs way before he has done anything real yet. 28 years old check his record talking boxing record not arrest record. And compare to fighters who are known and already respected and see where he lands.

He is a name up there for sure when it comes to notable boxers today for people to recognise or tune in to watch or be aware off..

but the face off boxing? he has quite a way to build up yet to achieve that level off notoriety....
