Time for the mandatories. The big plan that Warren and Hearn have been working on to split the belts up and get Joshua the IBF ahead of fighting Fury looks like it's not going to happen now.

Dubois and Hrgovic are no real threat to Usyk. Joyce is a more interesting match up. Fury v Wilder next anyone.

Or is this all part of the promotion still........

Usyk asked for 70/30 rematch clause in his favor, for a rematch in England. Fury agreed to 50-50, same rematch clause Usyk had with Joshua. Usyk said no.

How is that "Fury trying to break Usyks mind"? Usyk would stand to make 30 million or more with a 50/50 rematch split. He wants 70/30?

I get that perspective. There is the fact that Fury is in camp with Sugarhill. That would tell me that this rematch clause issue is something Usyk's side came up with after Fury was in camp, meaning in Fury's mind, the deal was as good as done.

if you remember, Fury proposed a fight last year and Usyk said he needed rest and a break. Usyk isn't ******, he knows Fury is by far the hardest fight he has ever taken. He may be delaying it and seeing if Fury will retire, allowing Usyk to fight an easier fight to unify.

Fury offered 70/30 because he could. Usyk accepted it and apparently Fury agreed to give a million to Ukraine. Fury went into camp two weeks ago, he apparently thought it was done. Now Usyk suddenly stops the fight because of a rematch clause issue?

I think the Usyk Joshua fights really oversold people on Usyk at HW. Usyk is no fool though.

That's if the rematch clause is even the truth, who knows with all of the impish behavior coming from Fury's team. A fighter by nature will not allow himself to be bullied past a certain point, even in negotiations. The constant moving of the goalposts seem to come over and over from Fury's side.

Fury has been in Camp. He's been with his strength and conditioning coach and his nutritionist for about 2 weeks and sugar Hill always joins them about 6 weeks before the fight and guess what.....he just joined them last weekend...6 weeks from the supposed fight

SugarHill Steward, trainer of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, says the unbeaten boxer could certainly be ready for a potential fight date of April 29 - but he'll have to train extra hard...

Even Steward admits the timeline will be rough, but also feels Fury is capable of getting ready in time.

"If that's what they agree on and that's what he wants to do, if he feels he can get ready for April 29 and fight Usyk then he'll just have to train extra hard for that," Steward told Sky Sports. "It's a short bit of time but I believe Tyson has the ability and the physical attributes to handle the situation."

Strange that considering Fury normally donates 100% of his purse to charity... Doesn't he?

Fury is not scared of Usyk. He is way bigger, just as good a boxer and Usyk couldn't hurt Anchinny Joshua. He ain't hurting Fury, who took Wilder's rights and won all three fights.

I love Usyk. Been a favorite fighter of mine for years. Usyk knows he likely loses against Fury. He may believe he can win, but the realist part of him knows that Fury is too big and too good, and a fight against him is a nightmare.

Fury knows this and he also knows that Usyk will make milliins more fighting him at 70/30 than he will fighting Dubois or anyone else. Usyk stands to make a huge payday against Fury. But Usyk has kind of pained himself into a corner. He hasn't got long left in his career, and he is now facing guys far larger than him. He put on masterful performances against AJ. AJ has never been the same since Ruiz stopped him. He fights scared now. And he most likely will never be the same.

Usyk certainly knows this about AJ. And he knows Fury is coming to cave his head in. And Dubois could seriously hurt him, as well as a few of the other top 10 HW's. Usyk is really undersized and his skill level was too much for ruined AJ. But these other guys aren't going to fight tentative, they are going use their weight and power to try and smash Usyk.

Usyk makes at least three or four times fighting Fury at 70/30 than he does anyone else. If they want a rematch clause and are wrangling over that.....it just appears to me that Usyk isn't all that confident about fighting Fury, and that he knows his options after the AJ fights aren't great.

And yet they are now looking to Dubois without fighting Fury once and previously accepted a slanted 70/30 split to try and make the fight happen.

From where I sit, it's obvious that team Fury that has been throwing up the obstacles and it's been team Usyk that has been clambering over them to try and make the fight. And now there's been one obstacle too many.

I'm sick of Fury, and his childish antics. Although, I believe that he has too many physical advantages not to win the fight, he's losing the public interest and world audience in these negotiations carrying out the business like a buffoon. If he really wanted to fight, the other side has already given concessions far past their comfort level, stop pushing for more or just admit that you're not interested. No one's going to be willing to get rxped in every way possible.
