Why don't fury just give usy k all he wants. He's a middleweight fighting the big boy, don't that deserve compensation beating up on little guy?Comment

This is why boxing is pretty much dead. One of the only times in history we can have a guy with every belt in the division and the fight dies. ****ing pathetic. They should both be forced to take the fight and if not, strip both of them for all of their belts. **** Fury and Usyk and everyone else involvedComment

How about you tell me which fight that Fury is in next that you won't tune in to see? He could fight Wilder for a fourth time & you'd tune in. Tell me you wouldn't. Ditto for Joyce, Joshua or even Ruiz. The point is, Casuals know who Fury is, because he's not only a champion, but because he's a character who garners attention with his raucous verbiage.Comment

It's my understanding that Usyk countered Fury's 70/30 demand with 60/40 going to the winner of this fight. Did I misunderstand?
I honestly don't know what you're arguing now.
You say Fury should get the larger share of the purse right now... And this is what was agreed. He would get 70% right now. And if they had gone for a 60/40 split, he would still be getting the lion's share.
You say if Usyk beat Fury, then he would be able to command the lion's share of the purse split in his NEXT fight.... That is precisely how the negotiations failed, because Fury wouldn't agree to giving Usyk the lion's share of the split in that circumstance. And basically all rematch clauses have contingencies baked into them; a rematch clause is inherently a contingency clause.
As for Fury's drawing power, we'll have to see. I think it's a big if that he'll be lining up against any of the top guys at all.Comment

Your Post still doesn't make much sense

Let's deal with the Facts!
Fury can't & isn't fighting AJ or Wilder next soo
According to You Casuals fan's don't know Champion Usyk well then they can't know Joyce or Ruiz either if Fury fights them

You still trying to argue against Fury being the A side, and we'd all tune in (casuals included) to watch whomever he fights next? How much drawing power do you think Usyk has alone among casuals? Even while holding the majority of the belts? He'll make a fortune fighting Fury, no matter the split Anyone else, not so much. That's my point, for the third time.

It doesn’t matter who fills what at Wembley because it’s undisputed fight . Fury can fight Chisora and fill just as many seats right ? Fans are watching two fighters not one , Fury isn’t some rock star that evetyones tuning in to watch like a concert this is a boxing match you can’t pull the A side card here and demand 70 percent unless you are trying not to make the fight happen on your own home turf .
Fury is clearly the bigger draw. For him to agree to a 60/40 split for the winner, all but negates the fact that he's the one who fills 95+% of Wimbley. The only way I could see Tyson agreeing to that deal is if he got a guaranteed lion's share of the gate and PPV buys.
At the end of the day Fury had no intentions on fighting we know this because his own trainer was not even informed about any training camp and in this very link is telling everyone that fight was never on so that’s the end of that so all this talk is meaningless to start with about who deserves this and that but I can tell you even if he was getting the lions share of PPV in U.K and live gate there would just be more obstacles he puts to not make it happen . Lol

You need to stop changing the Subject or Topic
I have no Problem with Fury as the A side........
I Just want you to explain your logic...soo again I ask & please answer my simple question
Who can "A side" Fury fight tomorrow that the Casuals fight fans will know tune in to watch
According to You Usyx is unknown to the casuals sooo Just tell us the fighters that the casuals know that Fury can fight
I'll wait..............Last edited by greeneye99; 03-26-2023, 08:52 AM.Comment

It's not about the opponent, so much as it's about Fury. I never said casuals will know the other top guys more than they know who Usyk is. If you're not arguing, what are you doing, exactly?
