A lot of casuals don't know who Oleksandr Usyk is, even though he holds most of the belts. I've never heard of a split that's contingent upon who wins. How many fights have taken place where the split of the purse depended on the winner? If Usyk beats Fury, then he would be able to command the lion's share of the purse split in his NEXT fight, where he would be the A side. Right now, Fury is the A side, so he should get the larger share of the purse.
    Wow
Please tell us all the Top guys that Fury can fight tomorrow that we would all tune in to watch....
    I'll wait.......
You said a lotta Casuals don't know who the Champion Usyk is sooo tell us the ones they do know

Why don't fury just give usy k all he wants. He's a middleweight fighting the big boy, don't that deserve compensation beating up on little guy?

This is why boxing is pretty much dead. One of the only times in history we can have a guy with every belt in the division and the fight dies. ****ing pathetic. They should both be forced to take the fight and if not, strip both of them for all of their belts. **** Fury and Usyk and everyone else involved

How about you tell me which fight that Fury is in next that you won't tune in to see? He could fight Wilder for a fourth time & you'd tune in. Tell me you wouldn't. Ditto for Joyce, Joshua or even Ruiz. The point is, Casuals know who Fury is, because he's not only a champion, but because he's a character who garners attention with his raucous verbiage.

You say Fury should get the larger share of the purse right now... And this is what was agreed. He would get 70% right now. And if they had gone for a 60/40 split, he would still be getting the lion's share.

You say if Usyk beat Fury, then he would be able to command the lion's share of the purse split in his NEXT fight.... That is precisely how the negotiations failed, because Fury wouldn't agree to giving Usyk the lion's share of the split in that circumstance. And basically all rematch clauses have contingencies baked into them; a rematch clause is inherently a contingency clause.

As for Fury's drawing power, we'll have to see. I think it's a big if that he'll be lining up against any of the top guys at all.
It's my understanding that Usyk countered Fury's 70/30 demand with 60/40 going to the winner of this fight. Did I misunderstand?

Your Post still doesn't make much sense
              Let's deal with the Facts!
Fury can't & isn't fighting AJ or Wilder next soo
According to You Casuals fan's don't know Champion Usyk well then they can't know Joyce or Ruiz either if Fury fights them

You still trying to argue against Fury being the A side, and we'd all tune in (casuals included) to watch whomever he fights next? How much drawing power do you think Usyk has alone among casuals? Even while holding the majority of the belts? He'll make a fortune fighting Fury, no matter the split Anyone else, not so much. That's my point, for the third time.

It doesn’t matter who fills what at Wembley because it’s undisputed fight . Fury can fight Chisora and fill just as many seats right ? Fans are watching two fighters not one , Fury isn’t some rock star that evetyones tuning in to watch like a concert this is a boxing match you can’t pull the A side card here and demand 70 percent unless you are trying not to make the fight happen on your own home turf .

At the end of the day Fury had no intentions on fighting we know this because his own trainer was not even informed about any training camp and in this very link is telling everyone that fight was never on so that’s the end of that so all this talk is meaningless to start with about who deserves this and that but I can tell you even if he was getting the lions share of PPV in U.K and live gate there would just be more obstacles he puts to not make it happen . Lol

It's not about the opponent, so much as it's about Fury. I never said casuals will know the other top guys more than they know who Usyk is. If you're not arguing, what are you doing, exactly?
