Something will have to give in the championship rounds of this fight: either Plant gasses out and succumbs to the pressure (my personal guess) or Plant still has enough in the tank to outslick David for the last 3 rounds.

Porter very optimistic picking plant by stoppage i must say, im expecting caleb to outbox benny into a decision win but like I said numerous times im very aware Benavidez could catch flush and get plant outta there in the last 3 rounds ,just hope sweet cheeks to perform as good or better than he did against a much more technical opponent in canelo. Benavidez is a stationary target with no defense just pure volume pressure puncher. Lets keep in mind he has been dropped before by a slower less technical boxer. We'll see in a few more days.

David talks the talk but he's never walked the walk. He's looked too much for a lot of mid-tier boxers but he hasn't faced someone like Plant. Don't get me wrong, Plant failed his biggest test. Yet who has Beni fought who is anywhere near Canelo's level or that of Plant's No one remotely close. My prediction is Plant is well ahead on the scorecards but falls to the volume somewhere around round 11. This will not be a one sided fight. I'd be shocked if it is. David will have to earn this one. If he blows through Plant, then maybe he is actually being avoided. His style is one of 2 things, the real deal or pure hype.

If Canelo can walk right thru Plant then common sense would tell u a younger bigger Benavidez can as well.

Such an intriguing fight Benavidez looked great in his last outing this could be his big coming out party but Plant is far better than his recent opposition. Just excited to see how it goes you would think as slick as Plant is David catches him at some point.

I truly believe that Stephen “Breadman” Edwards brings Caleb to a new height. Larry Wade is one of the best Strength and Conditioning Coaches, in many eyes, including me.
I may be wrong, but I heard or read something about Memo Herdia being involved in David’s camp.

The whole bumavidez camp knows no defense. They block punches with their faces and have no lateral movement. Gameplan is to overwhelm your opponents with offense. Which is great when ur fighting the bums bumavidez has but when u get to legit competition that flaw is gonna come up more

Its a myth he lacks defense. Show me a fight where he's ever been marked up. You think you can spend 5 years as a teenager sparring prime GG G with poor defense lol. His defense is fine.

Benavidez is still the mystery element in this fight. We know he can walk down cab drivers with ease, but can he to someone with a solid ring IQ?

If Plant comes in as focused as he lets on and uses his intelligence, he can take it. His problem is he gasses under pressure. And Benavidez knows pressure.

I'm still 50/50.

You are one of the muppets who have been conned into thinking he has just fought cab drivers when in reality he has fought a bunch of solid fighters and destroyed them all. So far he has fought 2 world champions and stopped them. Even the likes of Angulu , Ellis, Davis, Gavril are solid fighters who gives everyone else a tough time. Ignorance is bliss.
