If Plant is to win, it is with his boxing skills and long range game 'Primarily'.

In order to stop Benavidez, he is going to have to put his punches together 'And be at mid-range for a sustained amount of time'. I don't think this style of fight is utilizing Plants best tactics to win.

Maybe Plant cane hurt Benavidez, but I don't think he has the one punch power to stop him in his tracks or blast him out 'It is Benavidez's power punching which is more dangerous in this fight'.

Stylistically the best way for Plant to win, is by out pointing Benavidez 'Solid Jabs, single hard punches to the body and up top, movement, wrestle on the inside to disrupt Benavidez's attacks' etc.

I was 90% sure Bena wins but after Shawn’s statement I’m 100% sure he wins easily now. Bet the house.! I respected Shawn’s boxing style but he is always wrong and it’s weird because I think he smarter than his predictions but just likes sound bites (to get traffic to podcast). In line with his choice of suits, Shawn has made some questionable decisions.

Sorry Shawn, I don't see it. Plant will box well early, then gradually degrade until Benavidez catches up to him very late. I say Benavidez by KO in 10 with Plant way (6-3) ahead late.

If Benavidez applies intelligent pressure and doesnt get emotional, I think Saturday's fight looks like Tszyu - Harrison and Plant gets stopped late. To beat Benavidez, a fighter has to stand in the pocket & counter, blunt his advance and/or back him up, and I don't think Plant can do any of that. Alvarez - Benavidez is an interesting fight, hopefully that comes next if they both win.

That's why u see Plant winning against the pressure of Benavidez. But Plant isn't Bud, and Benavidez ain't u lol. You are one of the muppets who have been conned into thinking he has just fought cab drivers when in reality he has fought a bunch of solid fighters and destroyed them all. So far he has fought 2 world champions and stopped them. Even the likes of Angulu , Ellis, Davis, Gavril are solid fighters who gives everyone else a tough time. Ignorance is bliss.
