I've only seen Lopez once, against Warrington. That performance wasn't exactly inspiring, but I"ll reserve judgment. Let's see how he performs against Conlan.

English fighters don't complain about Irish fighters. You've just Made that up. The only complaints with the Mexicans is all the fraudulent advantages they have before they take fights. Remove them, the Mexican loses. Why do you think it's a national identity with them all doing it? They know they can't win fights otherwise. Lopez is no cherry pick by anyone's perspective, and anyone who follows boxing knows that, but thanks for the attempt at humor just the same.

Lopez was a cherry pick though, at least earlier in his career. Lopez was picked by both Andy Vences and Gabriel Flores jr to be just an stepping stone opponent for them and Lopez beat them both. And I say Conlan and Top Rank cherry picked Lopez because they think the #6 ranked Conlan can beat Lopez despite Conlan being the #1 contender for the WBC belt.
