Lopez was a cherry pick though, at least earlier in his career. Lopez was picked by both Andy Vences and Gabriel Flores jr to be just an stepping stone opponent for them and Lopez beat them both. And I say Conlan and Top Rank cherry picked Lopez because they think the #6 ranked Conlan can beat Lopez despite Conlan being the #1 contender for the WBC belt.

Again, Lopez is NO cherry pick, period! He is a dangerous fighter and a cherry pick would be a 15-1 underdog which Lopez will not be, especially after Conlan was blasted out of the ring 2 fights back.

Did Lopez not beat Isaac Lowe in his home town.
Did he also not beat and take Warrington's title in his home town with home judges and a home town ref who was working against him??

Canelo not wanting Callum or Saunders before they looked poor in fights beforehand. Canelo then gives Callum only 3 weeks to train in one of his usual setups.

Canelo fighting Khan who is a Welter when he had Middleweights to fight.

Warrington had been out of the ring for 17 months in a pandemic environment without a proper training camp against Lara who had been active all that time. By the time the Lopez fight came Warrington was damaged goods. But Lopez still didn't win the fight as i had it a draw. Lopez spent the second half clinching and getting beat up. The first half was spent swinging punches at air and gloves.

Leigh Wood was out for a year while Lara was again active. Lara even said he thought Leigh was shot after the fight he had with Conlan. Why go for the fight then if you think he's shot?

Warrington wasn't fighting bums. He'd been in there with Frampton, Selby and Galahad. Then the pandemic came. So no, he wasn't looking for those kind of fights the way Mexicans and Americans are across the board.

Khan would fight anyone not named Brook. Again, you make no sense. But why would a Middleweight fight a Welter when he has fights in his own weight class? He was doing his buying time routine like he's doing now with Bivol because Golovkin, amongst others, were waiting.

Wood fought Can, then his mandatory in Conlan, then Lara. Haha.
