Comments Thread For: Hearn on Joshua-Franklin: I'm Nervous, This is Not a Straightforward Fight

AJ should win this handily, all things being equal. However, Team Franklin has to know that in order to win, he needs to unload on AJ from the opening bell, which is AJ's kryptonite. One shot, just one shot landing decently on AJ will put him in automatic defensive mode and this is where Franklin can win. Plus, Franklin isn't an endurance fighter, so better to take AJ out early on.

Franklin was hand picked for Whyte for his , at the time unbeaten record (against nobodies) .Whyte looked shot and Franklin did better than expected.Joshua is coming off probably his best performance of his career , even though it was a loss! and now he's fighting the guy who just lost to shot Whyte....and Hearn say's he is nervous.....I think Eddie Hearn is lying again.

Sell those tickets young Edward! Make the sweet Caroline’s think this is a more dangerous fight than what it is! Matchroom needs a win, boxxer and Queensbury have surpassed you, so, “sweeeeeet Caroline, good times never seemed so good!”

What Eddy means is, "I've paid the judges but they still have to make sure AJ beats this tomato can."

Franklin was hand picked for a reason. Joshua needs to make a statement. Go out there in seek & destroy mode. Do to Franklin what Wilder did to Helenius.

This should be a fairly routine win for Joshua although after his meltdown post fight last time out who's to say he's all there. He might look it physically but is he mentally?

I thought franklin beat whyte but it was far from an impressive performance. I get why they made this fight but it is a showcase/confidence booster. Nothing more.

Hearn has already paid Franklin to fall over.

But even if AJ KOs this bum in the first round, it doesn't really mean anything.
