I remember JoJo early in his career and he seemed like a hardworking overachiever. At this point in his career, he's become the opposite. He's slept walk through the past few fights.
Good for Gesta, he's been on a run against shopworn fighters who were supposed to beat him. He will be able to parlay that into a fight against someone who is a bit more fresh.Comment

Diaz needs to reevaluate his career if he wants to honestly continue. The dude came into the fight looking like Andy Ruiz Jr. I've been following the dude since he was 18 and its sad but it seems like he doesn't have his heart in it anymore. He was the main attraction tonight and he fumbled it.Comment

Missed the fight, surprised but not shocked that Gesta won, I thought he was a live dog here. Diaz hasn't been the same above 130 and is heading in the wrong direction, keeps weighing more and more every fight and his power has less effect at each level. Gesta is a damn good gatekeeper that has pulled off some sneaky wins in his time, happy for that guy. Probably close to the end of the line for JoJo, one more L and I doubt he's ever in a meaningful fight again. Put JoJo in a crossroads fight against a guy like Jezzrel Corrales. Will they give Gesta a big fight against Zepeda? Or maybe they think he's a reasonable fight for Duarte next. Think Matchroom could come calling as well, I can see Gesta as a possible opponent for Fierro or Cully.Comment
