Whoa slow your role... He might be the best of this era. But, he is not an ATG.

i wonder what the official scorecards were.
Many viewed it including me, as unwinnable for arreola, he was remarkably fat and slow! Only his spirit to win remains on him. And the way I saw it, it was a total shut out, 100-90 in favor to Klits!

P.S. I do really think he needs another trainer... Somebody like Roach!
The bar for Chris Arreola lays flatly on the ground. Roach wouldn't waste his time with this guy. American boxing fans who haven't done the smart thing and given up on the HW division are so plainly desperate for a legitimate HW contender that they will will anoint just about anyone as the next big thing. Be honest. Chris Arreola is not a special fighter; even for a heavyweight. He clearly has below average boxing skills, below average hand and foot speed, below average discipline, below average conditioning, below average defense and definitely below average ring intelligence. His best attributes are a solid chin and an average heart. Stop apologizing for this guy. He is not the bad-ass HBO so desperately wanted him to be.

cris had no chance... he had the reach and height disadvantage and he's fat.

Co-signed. What is up with people throwing out "ATG" for every other fighter who steps in the ring? People act as though the sport started last year!

If he wants to be a force he needs to weigh in around 230 or less, that simple. I thought his corner was alright his only hope was to pressure, they tried to get him to let his hands go. If he's in better shape maybe he could've cut down the ring and let his hands go better. Lampley said it best the, if you expect to take time out to party and beat a klitschko you've got another thing coming they are 365 day pros. That's why I don't feel so much for Arreola. It's been a rough year for Mexican boxers and this is coming from a Mexican . I don't know how Mexicans do in the South and West but here in Chicago we get on guys when they dissapoint not kiss their ass when they clearly didn't prepare enough.

But when you swing like a girl (big wide shots), you aren't dominating anyone, regardless of age. It's not a feat to defeat a man 10 years your junior.....

We'll see who's name is significant for longer. Running ass Klit brothers

You hates much arreola, do you? because you want him die out of nothing but more punishments! This is a heavyweight and their shots are deadly! The ref was just in the right time in stepping up to waved the bout is over!

I think it is good for both! Vitali improves to unbelievable 92,5 % KO RATIO!!!

And this is only the beginning for Chris! He really proved critics wrong! He came in good shape, his stamina is really good, his punching resistance is great! His HEART is amazing! I really hope he can come back strong!

One more thing i`d like to say: stylistically i think he`s a very dangerous fighter for Wladimir! I`d like to see them fight!!! Wladimir proved himself already against different type of fighters! Now the fight against preassure-type fighter like Arreola would be great (after Chris makes a comeback of course)!

For those who say Arreola was in a bad shape - take a look at your belly, and then whatch how many rounds did the fight go!

For those who say crying is embarrasing - oh no! The guy truly believed he could have won, he tried his best, and now he is just devastated, and afraid of how his family will react! Props to him! He is a really nice guy!
Dude, what is your email address? I need to send you some good heavyweight fights so that you know what one is. You cannot be serious in saying that this was a good fight. You need to go back a good 10 years before you'll find anything worth watching at HW. I don't know what you were watching. Chris Arreola proved his critics exactly right. As much as I loathe Wlad Klitschko, Arreola wouldn't do any better against him. In fact, I'm sure he'd get cleanly KO'd by Wlad, as he would have in the 11th if he had the nerve to come out for it tonight. I'm not calling him a *****, because he showed toughness in taking a lot of good shots for 10 rounds, but I didn't hear him arguing with his corner or the ref prior to the stoppage. He knew he was done and knew he didn't have enough left to finish on his feet.
