Ryder's line of thinking is that he earned it by hanging in there, toughing it out and being picked.

He's not wrong, but stop it with "earned 3 times over" bullshyt.

Okay, it's not a great fight BUT a lot of you who are really crying about the fight are offer up no better alternative opponents. It would be nice if you did, so those picks could be roundly criticized as well.

Also, many of you lost much of your credibility before the Canelo/Bivol fight, labeling the fight as just another Canelo cherry pick.

it's an alright fight, better than many of the fights you'll find on the resumes of ATGs in their primes. (NO, I'm not saying Canelo is an all time great, just offering a comparison)

Lol Canelo avoiding every possible challenge for this shty fight. I've said it a million times. Canelo is straight up garbage and his resume is full of people like Ryder. This guy has been avoiding Beterbiev for 3 years now.

I am happy for Ryder that he gets his payday, but this is the fight for casuals.

Ryder is there to make Canelo look great again.

The ginger could have chosen Morell Jr. The same guy ryder was running away from. And don't give me the excuse that he only has 8 fights, canelo was fighting
no-hopers for almost his entire career, actually his first 16 fights opponent's record is, get this,81-88. So 8 fights is not an excuse, on top of that he's the WBA highest ranked at 168lbs, and has fought 8 boxers with a combined record of 136-18. Now if you compare both fighter's record it's clear Morell jr. with 8 fights, is way more advance than canelo was with double the fights. And yes Morell jr. fought in the amateurs too, that's why I believe he's ready to fight him and fans will be more exciting for his coming fight.

But he does have only 8 fights, sorry.

Canelo started fighting professionally at 15 or 16 years old. He had no amateur fights that I'm aware of. Comparing Canelo's early pro career to Morell's early pro career doesn't work too well.

Personally, I think Morell might beat Canelo, he's very high risk for anyone. The trouble is, where is the reward? I'd like to see that fight because I, like you, know how good Morell is. To get the Canelo fight, a lot more people need to be onboard.

Morrell jr? It would be a good scrap not gonna lie but as soon canelo beats him most people would say the exact same thing u mentioned...'hes only 8 pro fights he was too green for the ginger' cuban needs to fight couple former champs or top contenders first.
