P4P #1 is a two way conversation between Usyk and Inoue.
I've never in my entire life seen a HW considered as a pfp #1. The whole term was created in spite of HWs and weight. but apparently, that has changed now.

Did you not see the Ortiz fight? Loma is clearly way past his best it’s not even debatable.

When that HW is defeating much naturally bigger men and regularly winning in the away corner it does alter perception.

        You keep crying though.

I don't think he's #1 for beating Loma now. Loma is old and washed up. He's a shell of himself. This is easy pickens for Haney at this point. I'd love to see Loma prove me wrong, but I think his last great performance was against Lopez to be honest.

You can't be P4P best, with titles in only one weight class! Too many great ones have won titles in multiple weight classes! If Haney can do what Crawford did (135, 140, 147) then we can talk about P4P!

I agree with you except for Inoue, as awesome and fun as he is too watch, he has defensive liabilities - he gets hit a lot and has a weird, wide guard.

The best right now is between Usyk and Crawford.

Massive Crawford fan but he isn’t active enough against top competition.

Loma has been great and really challenged himself - he is a natural FW or at best a 130lb-er fighting much bigger men at 135. And he hasn't avoided anyone. Lopez was perceived as a tougher fight than Haney at the time because Lopez had a better resume than Haney at the time.

Haney is very skilled but he is a huge LW. Once he fights guys his own size he'll come across someone who will walk right through that jab. If (when) he beats Loma he should be in the P4P top ten for a while until someone else does more.

He's older and past his prime for certain, but I don't think we've seen a washed up Lomachenko yet. Haney has a substantial youth advantage over Haney, but IMO his greater advantage is his size. Lomachenko is a natural featherweight while Haney will be a full-fledged WW before long. If this fight was fought at 130lbs Lomachenko might actually be the favorite still. I believe Haney is still going to find a way to lose this though. He's not going to use his size the way he should and he's not a huge punching threat anyway. I can very easily imagine Haney trying to square up and outbox Lomachenko, but that's a bad idea, even against the old version of Loma. Lomachenko via pts.
