Tank arguably has a better resume than Haney. It’s pretty close at the very least.

Haney has Kambosos x2, JoJo Diaz and and a faded Linares.

Tank has Pedraza, Isaac Cruz, Barrios, Santa Cruz and Hector Luis Garcia.

I wouldn’t say there’s much between those resumes.

Davis is four years older, has fought in three weight classes, started his career two years sooner, had a Mayweather cosign....yet Haney has one more fight and has a comparable resume. Doesn't that speak volumes? Even in their upcoming bouts, Haney is facing the more decorated opponent.

Yes, it does. It's about the names fighting the names, same as it's always been. The more fights like this that draw in a lot of money, the better. The titles matter to a point but they're too watered down. They don't mean what they used to mean. Hopefully, it will lead to fewer titles and weight classes and less excuses.
