I was gonna post something obvious about spars being spars, then I caught MastaBlasta's tag.

Archie Moore turned pro at 16 & had his last fight at 49. 233 fights, 199 wins of which 145 came by way of KO. OMG my man, just think about that for one moment, That is truly breathtaking. 145 times he stopped an opponent! He has 5 times as many stoppages as most fighters today have career fights!

If Bakole thinks he's such a bad MoFo he should fight Jared Anderson or Frank Sanchez. Actually, I don't think any human being wants go near Sanchez. Sanchez is flat-out scary, if I was managing a young H/W I wouldn't want him in the same timezone as Sanchez.

Yeah it was the 9th round.

If that was a sparring round in training camp, they’d say “heyyyy take it easy there AJ” or they probably stop the round altogether because it’s only training, and there’s no need to be a hero in that moment when an actual fight is coming up. So then that sparring session ends with AJ stopping him.

Point being, there are many things differentiating sparring and fighting. Context matters folks.

My thoughts too ... Archie Moore was either Superman or a Caveman! What kind of hands, knuckles, and wrists do you have, to knockout 145 men (swinging back at you)? Thro in the occasional bar-fights and neighborhood disputes ... and that man had to have the legendary "hands of stone".

You're right about Sanchez too ... he is becoming a Boogie-man. I think Bakole is inching his way to "Boogie-man" also. But there are plenty of tests for him that other fighters will take at this time. I don't see anyone talking about fighting Sanchez.

I'm hoping Jared Anderson holds off a while longer and continues getting experience and maturity via training. He's a future champ, but HW Boxing has become a minefield .... lots of bombers on the landscape.

Not to be messed with. Bakole should have chinned Yoka really, bit of inexperience showed there.
            Bakole is crap

He got a gift decision v Kuzmin and got beat up by Michael Hunter

Joyce would smash both of them and smash Bakole to pieces too.

Joyce is top 3 IMO. he smashes everybody except Fury and Usyk and these are 50 -50 fights.

                Sanchez isn't that good

He'll get flattened when he steps up to higher levels just like all the other Cuban heavyweights have

He has decent movement against some old plodders like Hammer and even then he stunk the joint out and couldn't go through the gears, He's very one paced. Decent heavyweights would rid of Hammer like Fury did, even Hughie Fury did!

He's way older than the 30 he claims to be.

he would get smashed to bits by any top heavyweight now

Just like we all heard Ortiz was the man everyone was ducking and Wilder knocked him out twice.

I agree, I think he would be too much v this timid version of AJ

Wilder you can never be sure about. Joyce might have a great chin but chins can be cracked and Joyce was stopped a few times in the amateurs, so it can happen. That would be a great fight to watch.

But I guess that goes for Wilder v Usyk too. Usyk does get hit quite a bit, he's not some defensive master. If Wilder caught him at within 12 rounds, Usyk wouldn't get up.

All those would be great fights. This Heavyweight division could be a really great if all these fighters were fighting each other

I think Joyce will have his most difficult night against Usyk and not really because Usyk beat him in the world series of boxing but also Joyce struggled with a past primr Jennings and and that was because Jennings was a smaller fighter that had good movement and that was Joyce's most difficult professional fight and never looked like he could stop him. Jennings is no Usyk.
