Yoka looks like he is heading down the Fraudley career path without the paper world title shot. He was in there with an old man and he was the one gassed and stalling for time. Two fights in a row he was out worked and muscled around the ring.
His level probably is the B side European level...Comment

Yoka should retire form this sport, if he can`t beat this old faded version Takam, who can he beat? Kownacki maybe?Comment

Buddy McGirt knows what’s up over there and with his fighters he never let up on Takam in the corner , I thought it was going to be a draw with just 5 rounds looking close . Seems like Yoka thought the fix was in as well at the end ?

Forget violence ,how about proper foot placement ? He looks like a big narrow tree tripping over himself for years still with right leg completely in back of his front foot crossing over his own feet trying to position himself with that awful narrow upright stance . He’ll never make it at top level ,some guys it’s a little to late to teach proper fundamentals, hes basically a high level amateur style .

The article says "There was a complete lack of urgency in Yoka' corner after Round 7" but then proceeds to say that Virgil was freaking out begging ol boy to fight and get the KO. Which one is it?Comment

Yes. You are correct. The announcer also said that it was like Tony was stuck in the amateurs.

Yea I wasn’t really listening but Yoka suffers from what I call amateuritice ,the inability to stop very bad habits in the amateur ranks . Could also see he’s not willing to really fight back in overly tough fights a facial expression of Im in trouble and couldn’t imagine why an Olympic medalist didn’t see bending at an opponent level at 6”1 wasn’t going to make the fight easier for his opponent ?
