I’ve been a Fury fan for years but I genuinely hope Usyk scores the upset here.
He truly is the man at this point. I think he'd damn near fight for free.

He’s almost an anomaly in this modern era. He had every reason not to take this fight. The location, the split, the physical disadvantages. I really hope he scores the upset and cements himself as the best fighter of this era.

Win or lose, he's already won here. If he wins, I have no problem with him demanding 70-30 after all this or hell, 80-20.

            Still doesn’t mean much

Usyk accepted the offer but only if Fury donates a million to Ukraine

that’s not exactly accepting the offer that Fury put on the table

He's very old school and money is secondary to fighting and winning. Fury on the other hand is the most money hungry guy who professed that if he ended up back in council housing he would be fine with it.

Fury was scared of a guy who can't punch though. He played Usyk for an easy payday. Usyk fans will drop off like Wilder fans, and Whyte fans. Mark my words. Usyk goes down inside 10. Fury makes a massive payday while giving a small fraction to Ukraine making himself a hero in three Countries. Played it like the boss he is.

                  He wouldn’t though

His team offered Joe Joyce 7%

Remember he never accepted the first offers for the AJ fight and he was making videos saying “more money Eddie”

Don’t get it twisted, he’s in the business of making money too. He knows the reality is 30% v Fury is still a LOT more than he can make as the A-side v Dubois or something. and the truth is Fury knows they know that too, that’s why he held out for a bigger percentage.

Fury is a cunning guy, he knows Usyk and his team still want to make the most money. so he can get 30% and still get big money or he can fight Dubois for a few million. Boxing careers can end at any moment, so they’ll go for the bigger money when it comes down to it.

lets be real, Fury isn’t the first one to use leverage to take much bigger/unfair splits and won’t be the last.

It’s tedious watching it play out as a boxing fan, but fighters have been doing it for years

Mister,”I don’t fight for money, I fight for honor”, Gypsy King is full of ****. It’s a tall order, no pun intended, but I hope Usyk knocks him post to post.

Exactly right! Fury actually looked angry and upset that Usyk accepted the lowball offer and called his bluff. If Fury didn’t really want to fight Usyk, then he was an idiot for putting out the first video that actually specified the split he wanted - before that it was all speculation. But Fury’s thin skin got the best of him and he reacted to all of the talk from Usyk’s manager about his greed.

Look for Fury to sustain a delay-causing hand injury in 5.4,3,2 ..
