Goddamnit I feel like Zander has pulled out of a few fights. A real bummer cause I enjoy seeing him. hope he recovers quickly and can stay active.

real reason - His team told him to eat 10 times as many eggs and he can't face it.

seems like a lot of injuries in training - but very few get doctor's certificate. Maybe fighters are just learning real quick from each other how to withdraw from fights when a better opportunity comes up or maybe some other issue - ahem!

Card is significantly less "stacked" with that exit. Felt like the article was written by someone getting a paycheck from Top Rank/ESPN.

The only puertorican boxer worth our time right now is the IBF junior welterweight subriel Matias he is levels above these upcoming prospects!! Xander doesn't live in PuertoRico and neither does Edgard berlanga and they haven't fought anyone in the top 5 or anyone worth bragging about. neither boxer can bring a championship to puertoRico because they live in the United States. SUBRIEL MATIAS IS THE REAL BORICUA HE LIVES IN THE ISLAND AND SPEAKS SPANISH AND SUBRIEL MATIAS DESERVES MORE PRESS THAN THESE OTHER BOXERS WHO ARE NOT EVEN CHAMPIONS AND CANT REPRESENT PUERTORICO THE WAY SUBRIEL MATIAS CAN BECAUSE HE LIVES IN THE ISLAND AND KNOWS WHERE EL MORRO IS AND LITERALLY BROUGHT THE BROUGHT ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP TO puertoRico!!!!

Why are reporters not asking "how?" anymore in order to provide a more complete story? This is the 2nd article I read about this that does not offer an explanation on "how" the injury occurred

What was the injury, how did it occur, and how long will be out of the ring? If he returns to the ring on the 6/10/2023, Puerto Rican Parade weekend, then I'll think that this was planned, and not a accident. I hope that's not the case, because he could probably have fought on both fight cards 4/1/2023, and 6/10/2023.
