Of course they are. Fury should be getting 60% anyway. There is no upside to that offer for Fury, only downside - and as Sicko pointed out - you just need some bad or corrupt judging and you lose multiple millions

Fury agreed on this same deal with Wilder a 60/40 split ,winner takes 60 in their rematch clause . This is now undisputed where both are champions,it’s a duck it’s not even debatable when he’s already agreed to this offer before when he had no belt and now is facing a unified champion . Fury made the decision not to take more money offered in Saudi that was HIS decision now he’s asking for money that’s not there to match the split he wants .

Yeah, let's be real, Fury's not as confident as he makes himself out to be.

Now, I'll give him credit for fighting Wilder, but he had no choice but to fight Wilder because Wilder held all the cards and Fury was desperate for some cash & an opportunity.

Once he saw that he could outbox Wilder, he was happy to take on 2 more paydays against him.

Now, I have no doubt that he's the best HW in the division, but he needs to be about what he says he is.

40% for usyk is 2x the biggest payday of his career with bigger paydays otw if he wins. Asking for more money is essentially pricing himself out of the fight as no one really cares to see usyk fight anyone other than fury he already lost to chisora. On the other hand if usyk wins he’s essentially a made man 60/40 in his favour for the rematch maybe more

Not so. Usyk's biggest payday is higher than Fury's. He was paid around $60million as defending champion in the AJ rematch. He wouldn't get half as much from a 40% cut against Fury.

This is the correct answer. But many on NSB don't understand the BUSINESS of boxing - and why what you say is the EXACT PROBLEM with that kind of concession. It sets a very bad precedent if Fury agreed to that.

You can’t keep defending Fury and blaming the other guy all the time for fights not happening. He’s fought one threat in the last 8 years, is mentally weak and quite obviously doesn’t fancy the big fights very often. That’s why he’s been happy to fight nobodies for the majority of his career, whilst being 50-0 in fantasy fights his fans make up.

The B-Side humbly and quietly accepts ALL TERMS from the A-Side without suggesting anything.

The moment B-Sides start trying to throw terms in it, the A-Side might just start rejecting stuff - and that's not ducking, that making sure the B-Side understands their place.

That's the dumbest proposal coming from the challenger lol. Fury is the champion who will get the bigger cut regardless so why should he accept this dumb bet. There is no incentive for him. Fury should counter that with 80-20 and see what Usyk does.
