Comments Thread For: Usyk Promoter Says Fury Rejected Proposal of 60/40 Split With Winner Taking 60

It's very funny reading all the folks defending Fury.
Somehow Usyk is a "challenger"? He has 3 world titles vs. Fury's 1.
Somehow Usyk is broke, and who should be happy receiving 20% split, which would be more money than he's ever made? Usyk's highest payday (~$70M vs AJ 2) was higher than Fury.
Somehow Usyk is a problem and is pricing himself out? Usyk has fought everyone put in front of him, and in their home towns. He's fought Joshua in London, Chisora in Wembley, Bellow in Manchester, Gassiev in Moscow, Briedis in Riga, and others. Fury on the other hand ducked Joshua and was too much of a wuss to rematch Wlad.
Fury talked all the smack how he's going to destroy Usyk, but is too scared to put his money where his mouth is. Dude would be a 5-1 favorite due to the massive size advantage.
If Usyk retires tomorrow, he'll be looked on admirably by the rest of the world, while Fury's reputation is tentatively balanced on his trilogy vs Wilder, who is just as unproven himself.

Fury is the champion who will get the bigger cut regardless [/I]so why should he accept this dumb bet. There is no incentive for him. Fury should counter that with 80-20 and see what Usyk does.

The B-SIDE DOES NOT CALL SHOTS.
The B-Side humbly and quietly accepts ALL TERMS from the A-Side without suggesting anything.
The moment B-Sides start trying to throw terms in it, the A-Side might just start rejecting stuff - and that's not ducking, that making sure the B-Side understands their place.
That's what I mean by "hard ball".
Crawford was the same - tried to start throwing additional demands after Spence's side agreed to base terms.
It doesn't matter if we like it or not, that's the BUSINESS of boxing.
The B-Side must accept ALL TERMS and ask for nothing. That's how it goes. That's what Blair Cobbs did in his fight.
Fury would need a 70/30 split to come close to the Saudi money he was offered that’s not negotiating that’s ducking . If you can’t understand that well………the fact you said the B side must accept all terms tells me you don’t actually know much about boxing business so do yourself a favor and get off this topic . Lol

Usyk is the man, he beat Joshua twice back to back.
I was a big Fury`s fan, but I can`t defend him anymore.
He claims he would beat every heavyweight in the histroy, but he will find all the ways to duck a cruiserweight. F.uck him.

If Fury offered 80/20 to the winner, Usyk would accept in a heartbeat, which Fury also knows, which is why that offer hasn't been made. Usyk doesn't care about the money. He's in it for legacy and has already said he would fight for free. Fury also knows this, which is why he hasn't made ANY counter offer at all. The hangup here is entirely on Fury's side, and it's crazy how many people don't understand that.
Like seriously, the guy who has won EVERY ONE of his belts on the road in enemy territory is the one ducking? The irrationality from Fury fans is only exceeded by the nonsense coming from Fury himself.
