catchweights. floyd has also done other corny **** throughout his career like not letting maidana fight in punching gloves and paying him to use everlast powerlocks.

tons of corny little bulll**** and clearly tank has picked up on it
So to answer the question; Never.

You never got this mad when Cotto, Margs or anyone Manny fought was drained.

Did that make Manny a pu$$y to you?

No re-hydration clauses in those fights though right?

Floyd and Pacquaio had their diva moments, like almost every PPV draw ever, but neither ever had rehydration clauses in any of their fights to my knowledge.

It’s weak. There’s no two ways about it.

Yeah the rehydration clause is not good at all, although Ryan probably wouldn't gain much more than 10lbs anyway but he may have done a Gatti and gained 20lbs from weigh-in.

That’s fair though, once you weigh in you should be able to rehydrate to whatever you want.

            Rehydration clauses are a joke.

Fighting is the one sport handicaps shouldn't exist.

                • the worst part is still the catchweight itself. 2 years after leaving 135 because it was too tough to make weight, he has to drop 4 pounds of muscle. the rehydration element is just the coup de grāce.

Just because I said the managers are the reason doesn't mean I condone it, Im saying it's not the fighters but everyone wants to hate on the fighter, although the flip side is the fighter could easily say no to making clauses, there is nothing good about it.
It's not the fighters? Yes, it is. It's the fighters, their camp, their managers. Everything. Do you think the fighters are told to come out with all the things they do against their will and to just embarrass themselves? They refuse to fight otherwise. That has been made clear by every fighter who do these kind of things. Then, look at the nations of those fighters who do this en mass. I'll give you a clue... They're both in North America. No other nations are doing this.

That's true at face value, but it depends on Ryans's limits as far as water content goes, once that is hit then the muscle shrunk to lower water content, damage to a fighter is on a sliding scale, knowing a guys sweet spot in regarding weight vs performance is key and the bit only a select few know and it's of critical importance to the fight outcome, it all depends if Ryan can do it like Bhop vs ODH or Leonard vs Lalonde, it's why you can't say aii weight clauses are equal, each one affects a fighter differently, from a little to being fully messed up and all the way in between, makes great fan debate though.
