Lol prime Mike beat nobody, a former LHW beat the sht out of Tyson because he wasn't intimidated at all had an iron chin and could really box, Mike was a bully beating cans and as soon as he fought real top guys near their prime he got beat, I can see how the younger generation of fans hold him so high but the older generations would see him through different eyes, prime Ali would embarrass Mike and be able to take his shots stopping him in the late rounds, good boxers were always Mikes huckleberry, add real class and a real chin and Mike is lost at sea hoping for a bomb to pull it out.

Prime Mike Tyson was beaten convincingly by Buster Douglas who, that night, was on the level of Jimmy Young.

I think he's the best HW of the '70s.

Frazier would trouble him & so would Foreman.

'70s Ali was too old and lost his speed

I can see him taking 2 out of 3 each against Frazier & Foreman, winning a shootout against Ken Norton, knocking down Earnie Shavers, and being the guy who retires Muhammad Ali like Holmes would do later.

Now, Holmes, I think Tyson always beats him, regardless of era.

I know in '88, he was wayyy past his prime when they fought, but Holmes wasn't done by any stretch. He beat Ray Mercer in '92, and gave Holyfield hell in '93. None of them obliterated or stopped Larry Holmes, even the old Larry Holmes. Tyson did and is the only one who did.

A matter of opinion. No doubt Ali slept for a month thereafter. In my opinion, if we allowed George an additional two seconds, Ali would have shoe shined him into a crumple

Tyson was the epitome of the fast starter, and as such, I believe he was very much capable of upending Frazier very very very early. Quicker, faster, he hit harder with astute combinations and with a vastly underrated slippery defense, to say nothing of a 10lb functional weight advantage, Tyson's early barrage would trump any needed warm-up the slower Frazier required. Sorry Joe.
