This is not an easy fight for Fury.
Fury has shown ability to adjust mid fight like in Wilder 1 and also Wallin.
But the issue that was on display in the Wallin fight is that Fury is not as fast anymore. The speed he had against Wlad was still there in the first Wilder fight but he has lost it since.
He changed his style well against Wilder in the rematch after the lessons against Wallin and in their first fight w Bum Squad. Wilder hadn't changed anything and was still just relying on his right hand landing and it was a one sided beatdown.
In their third fight it was a paper thin win as Fury was just about stopped by Wilder and throughout the fight Wilder was landing more than in the second fight. And if you watch Fury in Wilder 1 vs Wilder 3 side by side you can see the massive decline in speed. After this Fury has picked some of the slowest HWs in Whyte and Chisora that are perfect for him, slower and shorter with very few skills that cannot use their size against him. Tailor made Fury opponents both of them.
Now Usyk has shown ability to adjust too, turning both Joshua fights around after Joshua having his best rounds in each fight. He has shown ability to win against bigger men like Joshua and Joyce. Usyk also has great stamina that gives him a good punch output and puts pressure on the opponent.
Fury has not faced this kind of style and skill level before. We remember how he looked against Wallin and Cunningham both of whom are skilled and fast. Unlike them though, Usyk is also smart in the ring. He will test Fury like nobody has before in speed, IQ, tactics, pace etc.
Fury will need to tire Usyk with his wrestling and then go for KO. If he tries to box Usyk it might well become a clear UD for Usyk as Fury doesn't have the output Usyk has. If Fury can keep Usyk off and win on points I will be very impressed but I think most likely it's an ugly and foul filled win for Fury or a legendary win for Usyk. For Fury it's not a big win as everyone will just say Usyk was too small and if he loses then he becomes a hype job or a has-been. Fury doesn't do his best when he is expected to win.
This is why I don't think "The Tipsy King" wants it. Wouldn't be surprised if another retirement announcement comes soon after blaming Usyk for avoiding the fight.

BOTH MEN DO NOT NEED MONEY. So why is a 50/50 split such a big hangup? I'll tell u why; Because Fury wants to make sure he gets a huge payday in the event that he gets beat. At this point, he probably wouldn't take a 60/40 split. Reason being, because he knows there is a very good possibility he loses! It's clear as day, Fury is ducking here. At first Usyk said he needed some time to heal some injuries, but he's been pushing for this fight for at least the last 2-3months.
Fury isn't too sure he can beat Usyk. It's painfully obvious.
You did not spell anything out at all.
The 50/50 hang up does not hinge on Fury fearing a loss.
Why did Fury get the lion share of the purse (perhaps 90 to 10) when he fought Chisora and Whyte?
If Fury was to fight any boxer, he would get the lion share of the pot. This is pure economics 101 - Fury brings in the crowd.
It is the same with Canelo. Do you think Canelo-Benavidez should be a 50/50 split? Or Canelo vs any of the guys at 168. Canelo and Fury are today’s boxing cash cows.

No Usyk, this is not like any other fight, you have to approach it as such, in order for you to believe you have a chance.
Your skill set's, and boxing IQ do give you a better chance than almost any other fighter in the heavyweight division, but it's still only a slight chance.
Fury is going to have the biggest advantages in height, possibly reach, chin, boxing ability, a high boxing IQ, and as great a will to win than most.
Unless the 3 magnificent wars he had with Deontay Wilder, all start to catch up with him on the fateful day in which you face each other, you won't be able to defeat the Irish behemoth.
