By favoring a 60/40 split in favor of Fury, you are literally agreeing that Fury is the BIGGER draw. I’m not even sure why you’re arguing with me unless it’s just you being argumentative.

60/40 would be fair for me too BUT it’s all upto Fury and he’d still be right if he refused and offered Usyk an 80/20 split or 70/30 split. Why? Because Fury is box office King.

It's this one, but if it doesn't happen it's not Fury's fault it's Usyk's for pricing himself out. It's not a 50/50 split and team Usyk knows this.

Will USYK EVER make over $20 million fighting anyone other than Fury?

If your answer is yes to any of those questions, you are either a liar or clearly DSAB!
Has Fury ever been the Undisputed champ? Who is the only person he can get that from? What is the biggest fight in the heavyweight division that can be made right now? Is boxing a sport?

I never said differently. My original post:

Usyk didn't have the belts. Joshua did. Usyk signed a 2 fight contract with a less than favorable split for both fights. Now he has the belts. I agree that Fury is more popular, but Usyk has something that Fury can't get from any other fighter, Undisputed. It has value. It's also not Usyk's fault that Fury can't enter the US, where the fight could potentially make more money. 60/40 split in Fury's favor seems fair. I hope the fight gets made.

Who's being argumentative, again? I'm glad you agree with me. And what do you think the split will eventually be? Not some fanboy fantasy.

I don’t disagree that Usyk’s belt are valuable to Fury. Bring undisputed is huge in the historical context and just bragging rights.
The issue here boxers like Fury, Floyd and even Canelo generate so much money that they don’t need belts for leverage anymore. Also, most fans have lost faith in the belt organizations so Fury might just say fück them belts.

I think Usyk is a gentleman. He loves the sport of boxing and I don’t think there’s anything negative that can be said about him. He is a better man than Fury. So I think he will eventually settle for a 65/35 split in favor of Fury. I’m not sure he’d agree to a 70/30 split.
This can all be resolved if they fought in Saudi Arabia. Fury can get paid whatever he wants and Usyk can negotiate his pay. Nobody needs to know how much each got as long as they are both happy.

This is a fair argument. It’s a different perspective. We’ll just have to wait and see how much value Fury puts in being UNDISPUTED. If it is worth something to him, he will have no problem with a 60/40 split.

Usyk better be willing to take 25% of the pie if he wants Fury to be his opponent

Usyk is well aware that he is not generating 50% of the revenue for the matchup, but he claims since he has belts he needs a portion of the revenue that Fury will generate. Fury has been the champion longer AND generates the revenue.
This is incredibly misleading. He accepted 80-20 in 1st fight against Joshua since he had nothing at Heavyweight. The second fight was 50-50.

Justifying Fury's antics is laughably by now. We didn't get Wlad 2 or Joshua. The hold up is on Fury's end, otherwise he'll always be that "greatest HW of the era who was scared of the little MW"
