Comments Thread For: Conor Benn Does Not Accept WBC's Suggestion That 'Eggs' May Caused a Positive Test

Conor Benn has called for all drug cheats to be banned for life and says he does not accept he ever had Clomifene in his body at all. Benn is still fighting to clear his name after an arranged contest with Chris Eubank Jr in October was pulled during fight week after it was revealed that there was an adverse finding in a VADA test.

It is an eggsteneous position for him to be in but the proof is in the omelette. If he had his eggs scrambled instead of over easy this whole mix up could have been avoided. Everyone saying eggs benn has paid for the finest lawyers? Ofc he has! I don’t know his lawyers or scientists and they haven’t really amounted to much but if eggs says they’re the best in the world then I believe him yo. Manny eggs Pacquaio Vs Conor eggs benn there done that for the wbc huncho belt winner gets breakfast for a year clean eggs Benedict and sausage

How could it be worse for him? The general public has pretty much made up their mind about it. Few of us, despite our claims, are privy to every detail of this matter. The fact that Benn has the integrity to reject the WBC's farcical egg excuse speaks to his sincer belief that there were errors in the testing and that those errors will be brought to light. There were, apparently, inconsistencies in the testing. I'm willing to be patient and wait for all the facts to shake out before I've judged him.

But I’m not willing to accept it because the 270-page report that my legal team sent over to them had nothing to do with eggs. It had everything to do with my test testing negative three times and nine days later testing positive.

So the story now is he's never had the eggs and thinks the lab cross-contaminated the tests?

If this was the case, why not tell everyone at the time? The gap in time makes the story look fabricated and hand-crafted.

To say "I don't believe it was in my system" is absurd.

It was in his system, twice. That isn't debatable.

What I want to know is why the same test was tested three times and came up clean. Then 9 days later they test the sane sample again and it's dirty.

                  Makes no sense.

The reporting is terrible. There's no news organization conducting their own investigation. Which is simply gathering data from both sides, then come up with a conclusion. What we have is this man insisting he's innocent, and the other side says he's guilty because he tested positive. The public has no way of knowing whether the tests were accurate or not. Which side is to be believed? Who knows? You believe he's guilty if you don't like the guy. The opposite is true. Only way is to have an independent system that could determine what the truth is. Unfortunately, there is none. It's a dark tunnel leading nowhere.
