  • Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson Advises Usyk To Stand His Ground With Fury, Not Run Around

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson does not expect Oleksandr Usyk to have a realistic chance of beating Tyson Fury - unless he stands his ground and actually fights.

Looks like hes trying to get Usyk knocked out i think thats actually the worst tactic for him if Wilder couldn't go toe to toe what chance has little Usyk got?

Middleweight will lose by wide UD or TKO. His strategy only decides the way of his loss not of outcome.

Also, middleweight ain't true mover. Intense footwork and running ain't same thing. He almost always stands in front of his opponents when fighting.

      KO loss looks inevitable.

Usyk best work the body. Stick and move. Usyk may not have windmills power or size but he's a hell of alot smarter.

When do you think Fruity will stop talking about it and make it happen

And how many times must you be told Usyk is the same size as many prior Fruity opponents
Fruity fought Dum Boy 3x......same size as Usyk.

Unless Fury presents his head to Usyk, attacking the body, such as it is, would be a wise move.

I expect Fury to be very dirty if they fight.

Usyk should know not to bend at the waist.
This will make it hard for Fury to lean down on him.
Fury loves to lean down on his opponents backs....among other dirty tactics.

I wish steroids are not banned so Fury and Usyk can fight 4, 5 times in one year too. God bless USADA

Fury is a very underated when it comes to bodyshots he throws a punch straight through the middle a lot of his opponents don't expect (just like Joe Calzaghe did) if you watch his fights you can see them visible hurt by them, this softens up his opponents for the ko.

I agree with tyson that the judges and the fans won't want to see usyk box and move.

Looks like Usyk has 0 chance.

If he acts like Lara, he will lose by decision.
If he fights in the pocket, he will get murdered by Fury's dirty skills and size.

Joyce and Wilder (yes, despite his three losses) have the best chance to beat Fury. Real boxing fans know that.
