Little to no argument can be made surrounding Terence Crawford's permanent fixture amongst boxing's pound-for-pound elites. With title reigns spanning across three separate weight classes, including an undisputed run at 140 pounds, the current WBO welterweight titlist has seemingly solidified himself as a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

You crack me up BUDDYR, you want to criticize Boots for not fighting anyone of note for 7 years, fair enough, but answer me this, how long has Crawford been a pro? And who exactly has he beat? What top dog has he taken down? And don't give me this argument about multiple division champ, undisputed non-sense because beating a bunch of paper champions picking up paper belts don't mean Jack sh**.....Comment

Crawford gonna try to fight ortiz he thinks that’s easier and Oscar will get him the money he wants. Vergil will destroy him thoComment

High risk low reward? Crawford was being paid high reward his entire career and can barely hit the break even point of ppv monies. Essentially, based on his competition and his selling power he has been overpaid his entire career. This is why Bob said what he said in that he was losing money on the man. To command a reward such as what you’re implying and to use it as a tool you have to sell seats. I’d say Boots would sell close to what Bud already sells. Using the high risk low reward argument for a man that can’t sell outside his own backyard is a ploy to dodge another opponent. He won’t fight him because the man is a beast of a fighter. Rewards has nothing to do with this. I don’t see notable promotional companies leaping over themselves for a chance to sign Crawford because they know he isn’t deserving of a “high reward” mark.Last edited by Boxingfanatic75; 03-04-2023, 08:10 PM.Comment

I was on the boots train until he gave up his WBO mandatory opportunity and went after the soon to be vacant IBF path. Sorry that is pathetic, I consider it basically a duck of Crawford and I don't even like Crawford.
His dad said they chose IBF because they were 2nd in the wbo behind or Ortiz but they would have been elevated once Ortiz refused his shot, so I don't buy that excuse.
Anyone have anymore details to explain this move? Otherwise it seems like a blatant duck.Last edited by Oracle01; 03-04-2023, 08:46 PM.Comment
