What's the point of this article? Harrison has a fight scheduled already. Why only now? Harrison and Garcia were both available for a year or so and not a single article was written about a potential fight between them.
Why not focus on fighters that are dormant?Comment

We are literally living in a world where Pro Wrestling is more of a sport than Boxing, and Boxing has better story-lines and drama than Pro Wrestling.Last edited by El Más Loco; 03-02-2023, 12:06 AM.Comment

If Danny was just disciplined enough to have stayed at 140 a tad longer, could had been one of the best Nuyorican boxers out there like Carlos Ortiz who defeated Sugar Ramos X2, Ismael Laguna and had a draw with Niccolino Locche.
Don't get me wrong, he is a HOF beating the likes of Amir Khan, Lucas Matthysse, Zab Judah, Robert Guerrero, Lamont Peterson and gave fierce battles to Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter and Errol Spence. But if he had sticked longer, he would have fought the likes of Taylor, Matias, Ramirez and Prograis.
He is just too small to contend with the top competition at light middleweight, he looked fantastic against a (literally) shot Jose Benavidez Jr but don't think he actually managed to physically hurt him, imagine if he were to fight Fundora, Castano, Charlo, Tzyu, Harrison and the like.Last edited by Malvado; 03-02-2023, 12:33 AM.Comment

Paquiao is the only fighter he can make that get him that bag. That’s a winnable fight for Pacman.Comment

Diva Danny, he ain't hungry no more. If a boxer ain't saying he wants smoke with everyone in or near his weight class, then he's strictly after the bag. And that's cool for him personally, but as a fan, that's not really who I wanna see. Because the kinda guys who hold out for only certain fights, while avoiding most others, eliminates the possibility for fans to ever see a lot of potential great match ups. And so, they become a part of what I think is hurting the sport. Guys like Boots, or David Benavidez, who truly wanna fight everyone in their division, are rare today. I think guys who fight often and stay active, become more seasoned and better fighters than guys who fight once or twice a year. Someone has to bring that old school back.Comment

Lol. Like how everybody's main point in the comments is the "$10M" part. Thank Haymon for giving these an guys over-inflated sense of value of themselves. Now everybody thinks they're worth millions of dollars, yet can barely sellout their hometowns. Main reason why these big fights don't happen nowadays. These guys need to realize that not everybody is an attraction alone like Canelo, Mayweather, Pacquiao, DLH etc. When those guys fought they are/were considered events, not just fights. None of these guys nowadays have that type of star power.Comment

Realistically the only option is that fight in the middle east if 10m is your demand I could see charlo but he ain't getting paid more than 2m max himself with a belt so shh hope you agree to 1.5m then which is what could get vs Harrison, boots, ectComment
