Klitschko's contract with HBO ran out with the loss to Fury in 2015. He then signed a new contract with HBO.

That’s a lie , HBO got the rights to the Fury rematch. Wlad still had fights on his HBO contract after his loss . Just admit it ,Finkle was never going to let him fight Klitchko you admitted it by saying he was going to wait until his contract ran out which was well after 2016 and if he renewed it that’s even worse . That means Finkle wasn’t going to fight Klitschko at all based on what you said . Lol

Had Wladimir beaten Fury originally, he was going to jump to Showtime to set up the big Undisputed showdown with Wilder.
