He wanted that pay day and it’s different when you are in the ring prior to that Spinks was very confident . Spinks avoided Tony Tucker though ,Im remember he something there he didn’t like and declined that fjght .

Yes sir, Spinks was in mortal terror and it froze him like a hunted rabbit.

He'd rather fight what he thought was shot Fury for less money and now he thinks AJ is shot to pieces he chasing him, it really isn't that surprising it's become a pattern of behavior at this point...

Wilder is a great fighter, terrible boxer and he's even less intelligent than he is a gifted boxer.

And his intelligence or lack thereof has been taken advantage of by those surrounding him.
Sad but the undeniably true. Shelly Finkel expects people to forget that he had Lou Dibella banished for even considering a prime Joshua/ Wilder showdown. In interviews DiBella mentions it and Finkel himself acknowledges it. Finkel back-stabbed DiBella and then sold out Wilder on the notion that he could make equally as much fighting no hopes and selling it to the gullible public....and Wilder jumped on it.

Shelly Finkel, just like Lenard Ellerbe and everyone else at the PBC persuade fighters into believing that their 1st obligation is to provide the PBC with content for Showtime. Not because it's good for the fighter but because it's how Shelly and friends make THEIR money.

Shirly going around and continuing to lie even though everything has been exposed on their end. That's a great way to start talks with Hearn. Continue lying. Duh.

The plan was to duck AJ and the rest and make as much money as they could fighting bums and using AJ's name in the process. Then when the fight isn't as big as it was, cash Wilder out. Had Wilder fought him years ago he gets knocked out and can't be the vulture picking up pay cheques against slops afterwards. Floyd did the same with Manny.

Besides, Wilder doesn't want AJ. He said so at the start of the year. He's frightened and always will be. He only contradicted himself when Shirly said the opposite. That's why Wilder has gotten spooked and walked because the protective hand has slipped and they want the Ruiz and AJ fights. Problem is, Wilder doesn't.

Enjoy Wilder and his "Massive" fight with an MMA fighter. Wilder only wants big fights from here on out. Haha. Just not big fights with boxers like AJ and Ruiz. Malik even tried to smooth over the duck by doing the ducking of Ruiz for Wilder in the press and making pathetic excuses like they've always done. Enjoy being on the end of the joke.

Finkel should stick with promoting Lawrence Welk at the Music Festivals. Boxing would be better off.

The money. Don King wanted to pay Spinks a half million for Tucker. Spinks was guaranteed four million to fight Gerry Clooney. Spinks “IBF and TNT be damned”.

As if a fight wouldn't happen because two promoters didn't like each other. They'd happily deal with the devil.

Money talks. The 'fall out' was all a part of the story they were selling.

One or both of the fighters didn't want it.

Beyonce turned down record money (his own words), and thatvwas at the height of both their star power, no reason to give Wilder anything
