Is Cotto a better fighter than JMM pound for pound?

Its a P4P debate, and WW Cotto would probably beat JMM, as I am sure Ali would destroy SRR at HW. If Cotto fought Pavlik at 160 he would get crushed. Cotto is the better fighter though. However P4P Marquez is a better fighter. Juan Diaz is a better fighter than margarito P4P and Marquez took his come forward style adjusted amd stopped him. Cotto took Margaritos style looked ok for 6 rounds, got beat down and quit.

I understand that about hte Margarito fight, but everybody knows that there's a big * in that fight because Margarito could have possibly cheated, so I think it's unfair to make that fight count for him.

I guess when Cotto beats Pac, you will say that Pac was mediocre nothing special.

1. i doubt he can beat pac.

2. even if he does he just beat a natural featherweight.

Marquez is good and im a huge fan of his countering ability but shouldnt be considered at athe welterweight division anymore. Im not sure how he will fare at 140lbs. look at "big punching" Nate campbell. He was getting outspeeded and eaten up by Bradley.

Guys gotta keep P4P out of boxing for a lil. The last true P4P in my eyes was Duran. who fought all the way up to LHV and still knocked guys out. That is P4P status. Mayweather couldnt even KO a natural 135lb marquez so I dont consider him even close as well.
