Not much in it im my opinion, there my number 1 and number 3 favourite fighters so im a fan of both. Cotto has everything Marquez has IMO. Today he is a just a top level fighter november 15th some may be calling him the number 1 or 2 p4p fighter in the world, p4p is so what have u done for me lately!

Does Cotto have Marquez, stamina, toughness, ability to fight throuh adversity. How about the lazer like precision, ability to throw every punch in the book, and the best timing behind Mayweather and Hopkins? Honestly a week ago nobody would even discuss this, and now people have the audacity to say Cotto is better when he clearly isn't/ they look at the Mayweather fight, and decide not to look at the margarito fight? I don't see what the debate is. Marquez as of now is a GRET ATG level fighter, and Cotto if he retired today has not even earned HOF status.

Cottos offensive arsenal is waaay more refined than marquez. Marquez counters better than Cotto though. Marquez showed how bad he is at trying to engage. That is cottos bread and butter.

STylistically Cotto matches with mayweather a lot better than marquez. Marquez let floyd breathe and think without having to worry about getting rocked with a powerful punch. it was a tune up.

Cotto wouldnt let mayweather off so easily, he would come forward and smother mayweather in the corner. His power would have mayweather running all night. Castillos weight and power made the difference in that fight and Castillos skills dont compare to how refined of a boxer Cotto is and Cotto packs more of a punch

Dumbass only a dumb hater would use Plasterito as an example and he beat Clottey with just one eye whether you like or not. If you're talking about Pac you dumb ******, Marquez record on the both Pac fights are officially a draw and a loss. Cotto has good stamina, not a good as JMM's tho granted. Toughness and ability to fight through adversity - check! Laser like precision and ability to throw every punch in the book and Great Timeing - Check!

Now does JMM cut the ring off as well as Cotto? Fight southpaw as well as Cotto? Force the fight as well as Cotto? Have the physical strength of Cotto or the brutal body shots of him?

I don't think so, and many agree, sure he won, but to say he deserved to win is a stretch, when so many experts had him losing. Cotto is not a great fighter (great fighters don't lose to Margarito), he isn't even HOF worthy yet. Just vote in the poll.
