Just for the record, I believe Fury vs Usyk is going to happen and neither guy will be fighting anybody else before they go against each other.

So you think the first Heavyweight Undisputed title fight for over 20 years is going to be agreed upon for the end of April?

If this fight is to happen, the fight date needs to be altered.

If the fight was made tomorrow, both fighters only have 6-7 weeks of solid preparation.

You cannot count fight week as intense training, because it is all about tampering down during that stage of the training camp.

Tyson Fury has apparently, already decided that he wants to fight at the end of April.

So I guess if there is one positive to take from all of this 'At-least we know when Fury is fighting next'.

It is just a question of who that next opponent will be etc.

Usyk has already said publicly that he'll fight Fury for free if he needs to in order to make the fight happen. Meanwhile the Fury's are talking about money, and one time it's "I've already got more than enough money, I don't need it, I'll fight AJ for free if he beats Usyk", and the next it's "I'm not being paid enough to fight Usyk so I'll go fight some bum for the third time for considerably less money than I was offered for the Usyk fight."

His promoter is doing his job for his client trying to get him paid, but if money ends up being the problem here in making the fight, that's entirely on Fury.

This A-side BS is a duck from Fury. Anyone paying attention should know that by now. How many times has he "retired" just since the last Wilder fight? He says more nonsense every time he opens his mouth. Guy is either a pathological liar or off his rocker, which, considering why he gave up his belts, wouldn't be a surprise.

Meanwhile Usyk has won every single one of his titles on the road in his opponent's home country. You give Haney credit for doing that with Kambosos, but Usyk has done that for his whole career.

IOW, The Fury's are playing the ''I'm Not Afraid or Pricing Myself Out. My One Belt and Loud Mouth Is Worth 80+% Of The Pie .'' game.

          And his fans love it

I think it's going to happen, but probably not on the April Wembley date. According to Frank Warren, that date had been pencilled in, but not finalised or confirmed. I think it will be in Saudi Arabia, not the UK. My reasons:

Tyson and his dad in S.A. for Tommy's fight, looking happy, relaxed and praising their hosts at every opportunity. If the unification fight had fallen through they would have been going in on Team Usyk like there was no tomorrow ... denigrating them , blaming them etc. There was none of that from the Furys, so far as I saw, just lots of praise and goodwill towards the Saudis and Prince Khalid in particular. This leads me to believe the Arabs have made Tyson a new offer and he intends to accept it.

Also, dead silence from Warren and Krassyuk. If negotiations had fallen through and the big fight was off, the blame game would have already started.
