And of course his paydays are better than most boxer his massive following partially converts to advertising dollars on "PPVs" events, he's a promoters wet dream.
Everyone learns punching first and hands up. The transition into defense from offense and back is a higher skill level. You can teach basic defense but the higher level pro one is one of the last things that you learn.

It shouldn't be but real question is at what division? 175 or 200?

Well then you've been in poor gyms and with even poorer coaches and you parent(s) done you disservice by not find the gyms/coaches prioritizing defence.

Just because you learn to "punch first" doesn't mean your coach can't be cognisant of your positioning (both hands and feet) and make you adjust accordingly so you're defensively sound ensuring you don't form bad habits from the start, even on the bag these subtle changes can be made to ensure you're more defensively responsible...

Assuming of course you aren't just waffling for the sake of it, this should just be basic knowledge to anyone with at least a basic grasp of the fundamentals.

How 'bout that? Sulaiman was talking about ranking Paul if he won. Will he do the same for Fury?

It was worrying to see how happy Tommy was when he won. He looked like he had beaten a world champion. And then he made a social media post "Best day of my life".

I can't really bedgrudge him celebrating a win. I think it would irk me more if he was blasé about it. He's made a bunch of money and avoided a banana skin result that would have been an utter humiliation.

Does this mean Tommy the novice is now ranked by the WBC?
