Super curious and excited to see what Matias does as a champ. He's got some prime Jarrett Hurd vibes with the power and activity ramping up every rd. Question will be if he can take the power of the big punchers at 140. PBC doesn't have a ton for him, but he'd beat Puello in a unification imo

I think Ponce's trainer didn't like the way the fight was unfolding and could probably see the writing on the wall so he decided to stop it. Ponce looked disappointed but it seems like he really respects his trainer and is not challenging his decision.

Maybe not, but Ramirez wouldn’t go within a mile of the same ring as Matias, unless he got the whole purse & it was in Fresno lol

fight lived up to the expectations I personally had for it

Salute Both of these Warriors hell of a fight while it lasted

guys making plans at 140 like they're going to just move up and take over...GOOD LUCK! Matias, Prograis, Taylor, Puello...are no easy outs I don't care WTF you accomplished at 135

These are the fights Casuals are not seeing unfortunately and these are the fights that would make them comeback for more. Love More of the Technical Sweet Science style but Brawls are needed and Brawls are far more appealing to the Casual Fans
