Good win by Matias he ate a lot of punches but he just kept coming forward and was the stronger fighter. Still think he needs to work on his defense but it will be fun to watch as long as it lasts.

I haven't heard anything about Matias struggling to make weight, he just won the 140 pound title, so I think that he's going to want to make some title defense's, and unification's.
I've heard that that next up for Matias is a unification bout against Puello, whom I believe will suffer the same fate as Matias' 19 other opponent's.
About him fighting at 147 pounds, I think that he is resilient enough to compete at 147, that said he has to be a bit more defensive minded.
The take some to give some style of fighting leads to sorter boxing career's, so if he want's to extend his career he's got to work on his blocking, slipping, ducking, and dodging.
Moreover he's just won his first world title belt, I'm sure that he want's to continue to make his mark in the 140 pound weight class, and I hope that he's able to do just that.

          Matias owns the 140lbs division.

I think everybody has a chance to beat Matias, just like I thought Ponce had a chance...until Round 4! Matias hits different, and his chin is rock solid! I'm not sure Catterall can beat Ponce? I'm definitely not picking him to beat Prograis! Prograis knows he could make money in the UK! However, I bet Matias just gave him some leverage in negotiations!

Matias breaks down Prograis violently who's gotten pretty overrated around here.

I knew Ponce was finished after he threw everything at Matias in the first round. Bad strategy. He blew his load and went downhill from there.
