Wow. I like this fight way more than the Eubank rematch. It would be totally competitive. And while he’s not a brilliant fighter, something about Smith’s style is rather appealing and above all I’m glad he’s got some interest circling that grey head.

There’s no money in it. Smith won’t want to take such a financial hit at this stage of his career. They say Janibek is so scary that he’s avoided, but the reality is this is prize fighting. Unless he goes to UK and takes a B side cut, I don’t see this fight getting made.

Eubank Junior vs Smith II 'For a WBO World title, is a bigger fight'.

But I already believe that the rematch between them right now, is a bigger fight than the first fight.

Liam Smith although he is a solid fighter. His style of fighting almost makes most fights beyond domestic level difficult fights.

So just nonchalantly making plans for Smith to beat Alimkhanuly then to rematch Eubank Junior 'I don't think these are the best moves to make'.

The biggest fight to make for Liam Smith right now is the rematch with Eubank Junior.

It is also a fight were Smith can make demands. Smith cannot make demands with any other Top-level fighter at 154 pounds or 160 pounds.

Smith has a mass of experience sparring and fighting against Eubank Junior. This makes that fight a more winnable and easier fight to prepare for in comparison to Alimkhanulty.

Note: There has been plenty of speculation regarding Eubank Junior's condition at 160 pounds. I have personally theorized that there may have been a negative effect from the Benn training camp 'Making the 157 pound catch weight. And training while adhering to a re-hydration clause has had a carry over effect for the Smith fight'.

And although Smith skill for skill was looking like the better fighter vs Eubank Junior 'Still this negative effect on Eubank Junior's condition, could of been the determining factor in the win'.

Eubank Junior has fought numerous fighters who hit with more proven power than Smith at the higher weights, and fighters who have more bruit strength 'Proven because they have fought in the higher weight classes for the majority of their careers'. So all of this speculation and theories regarding the effects of the Benn camp on Eubank Junior 'Have validity'.

This Alimkanulty from what I can see has never fought at 168 pounds, and there are no speculations regarding his conditioning 'This is a tougher fight for Liam Smith to prepare and it would most likely be a brutal fight'.

So taking all of this into consideration, Eubank Junior vs Smith II is the best fight for Smith right now. For the first time in Smith's career 'He is involved in a big fight, were he can make demands'.

Liam by KO. Charlo and Janibek are mid level hypejobs.

Smith won't be the betting favorite, nor should he be. Alimkhanuly has flaws, but he's too big and strong for Smith. Too many fans still on a sugar high about that Eubank Jr win.

Why would Smith take this **** fight? Making peanuts against some dude who 99 percent of the boxing public can't even spell or pronounce his name

Are you kidding? To become a 2 weight world champion which would make the Eubank rematch much bigger but also potentially lead to unification fights against GGG and the Charlo twins. Could even lead to a Canelo rematch. Got to think beyond the obvious sometimes.
