Call me crazy, but I think Stevenson is all wrong for an aging Lomachenko.

I think Stevenson beats Loma, and even Haney.

The guy is that good, or great. He can make a difficult fight pretty comfortable, and a bit dull, as Floyd did.

Arum doesn't know what Haney is going to do, because after the Loma fight, Devin and his father are free agents and will weigh their options depending on most likely money. Bob doesn't have a say in what they will do with the belts, and he's trying to put it out into the public what is best for him and Top Rank.

The biggest money fight for Haney would undoubtedly be Tank, assuming they both win their current fights. People can assume who won't fight who, but both of the fighters have said that they really want to fight each other, and with Devin being a free agent, there's no excuse about networks or promotional companies. Bill stated that Devin could possibly stay at 135 until the end of the year if the right fights are made. That tells me he's looking for the biggest checks, and at lightweight that starts with Tank.

Haney and Shakur should be fighting next because who knows if Haney's moving divisions in the future if it will ever get made again. We fans deserve it now and don't need years to marinate. Marinating fights is an Arum disease he has. And for Fuxsake can why cant he put two dominant black fighters in the ring together in their prime??? Loma is old and crusty and tiny, and it's not compelling to watch him get destroyed by a much bigger younger fighter. It'll be like Ali vs Holmes. Just sad to watch. He needs to move down. Great fights there where he can still be competitive. It's literally too big an ask for him to continue to dominate at this weight. RJJ said it all.
As for Nakatani and Comey being C class fighters, no way. Give them their due.

I can't see Haney going anywhere after the Loma fight other than stick around the TR/ESPN premises. Where else would he go? Show me.

Huh?? He would go to PBC man! Big money PPV fight with the Tankster. Issac Cruz? Frank Martin? Chris Colbert? Hector Garcia? Jose Valenzuela? Edwin de Los Santos? By the time he moves up to 140 PBC will probably be in control of 3 of the 4 belts. C'mon son think a lil bit before you post!

I am immune to all the talk of "...maybe next..." or "... we want that fight..." or " ...the plan is to fight him next..."

I am not buying it until it is signed. Everyone can end up blaming everyone else when it does not happen. I have been way to excited way to many times for fights that seem like a natural for all parties involved only to never be able to enjoy them punching each other for our entertainment.

Haney and Shakur are going to circle each other longer than Crawford and Spence. They will square up in 2032 as shot SMWs.
