To be honest, Canelo could get his ass beaten even by Ryder

I like Ryder but by his own admission he will try to get inside on Canelo and work - he can't do anything else.

He's the smaller guy and as tough as he is - you can see him looking good because he's a good fighter imo. But also you'd be stunned if he didn't get broken down and stopped mid to late.

We have seen the best of Canelo already.

Canelo`s self confidence is not very high right now. Otherwise Bivol rematch at 175 would be scheduled or Benavidez at 168.
Nah, obviously Canelo isn’t unbeatable but a fighter (Ryder) that needed a home cooking decision to beat Danny Jacobs ain’t beating Canelo.

What makes Ryder deserving. Certainly not a crooked decision over Danny Jacobs

I wonder if its the knee that is starting to give Canelo issues post surgery he was never good at stamina and output but has declined even more so in that area.

Obviously no athlete is going to publicly reveal his struggles with his body guess we will see soon enough if it was just a temporary thing or permanent keep in mind he has been fighting since he was 15!

Yoyoing between weights in your 30's is not really a good idea for longevity imo.

Looks like it's that time of the month for the canelo hater female group here..

Before the fight " won't be surprised if it goes 12, ummhmm won't be surprised if Ryder do it" " canelo done ain't the same"

After thr fight "Ryder garbage told ya it will only go 3 rds" " canelo juicing more than Tyson fury"

                Damn females

Yeah that last part especially, even the most ardent of canelo haters have to admit the man's got a granite chin and other than the bivol fight you rarely seem him take combos clean.

I think that's related to his knee issues from a couple years back. His handspeed and processing speed during a fight is still there. By processing I mean during the ggg3 fight canelo was setting up a right hand to the head by baiting ggg to the body he would step in with the jab dip the right shoulder throwing to the body. This started to draw golovkins lead hand down. Eventually canelo was doing the same sequence dipping the right shoulder still but changing trajectory of the punch mid throw he had trained ggg to dip his lead elbow guarding the body leaving the opening for the right to the head instead.
