Venado Lopez was washing good fighters at 130 -- Andy Vences, Gabriel Flores Jr. If legit 130 guys couldn't dent his chin at 130, I doubt a basic slugger like Lara can at 126. Lara has excellent power at 126, but Venado doesn't often get hit clean with blind left hooks like the one he scored the KO with yesterday. I think Lopez will hack on Lara for twelve rounds like a side of beef. The only guy at 126 right now I see giving Venado any real problems is Robeisy Ramirez.

Those fighters you named for Lopez are not good fighters. Who did they beat to make them world class? They're not even close.

Silly decision by Ben Davison - does he not remember what happened to his charge against Conlan... Knocked down at the very end of the first round, had to show severe survival skills in the second but weathered the storm to come back and KO Conlan? Similar thing happened in this fight - Wood was badly hurt in round 2 but came back to dominate Lara. If Ben allowed Wood to carry on there is every chance Wood would've made it out of the round and survived the onslaught from Lara before winning the fight but now we'll never know. Ben really should've gave Wood the benefit of the doubt, it was a title fight after all.

Warrington was out for 17 months and couldn't have a proper camp due to the lockdowns. That isn't someone at their best.
